Highly recommend following DownloadingPirate on youtube. I'm currently using Terrarium TV for moves. It's working perfectly.
Could be. I fully intend to give it another try once the roku app goes live and hopefully the weird streaming restrictions with sports will be gone at that point.
I’ve only had a problem with casting from my phone with NFL games but I figured that was your typical NFL fuckery
I can use screen mirroring to watch on my TV. It's a pain in the ass because you can't use your phone or turn the screen off when you do it, but you can definitely watch the game on your TV that way. NFL games (just MNF I think) won't play on in the espn app. I switched my chrome browser to desktop and they play fine that way though.
It was either mnf or tnf that wouldn't play in the espn app on my phone. It gave me a message that it wasn't available for mobile viewing. Thought it was weird, but I think several people here had it happen too.
i have had that issue with snf on the nbc app when i try to cast it. havent seen if it is an issue with youtubetv
I have directTV Now and it wouldn't play in the mobile app for it either either. It would on the app on the Roku though.
Interesting piece I just read on Disney. Forgot they owned Marvel so those shows are gone as well. They are also creating original content and said their monthly cost would be significantly cheaper than Netflix. Oh yeah, and supposedly they almost acquired 20th Century Fox. "The biggest properties in the world, all on one service, with original offshoots and expansions ready for streaming whenever somebody’s interested, at a lower cost than what people already pay for Stranger Things and Mindhunter. At that point, it’s not just a question of whether Disney’s service will attract customers. It’s a question of whether its service will so radically reset consumer expectations in the streaming market that a $9.99 Netflix subscription just won’t seem like a value any longer."
Disney will for sure jack up the price before long. They stated that they wanted to grow the customer base as quickly as possible, which is why their price point will be "significantly" cheaper than Netflix. I will hold off until I see how good they are at producing original TV shows that aren't for children though. What does Disney and it's owned channels or studios do for original TV shows now, not including ESPN, ABC, and the Disney channels since I already know those?
I am not a fan of the content they put out, but to answer your question to the best of my ability. For adults this will include anything Marvel that you might watch on Netflix (and obviously there are still like a billion characters). Also, not sure if I read it as a fact or if it's just speculation but I believe there will be a Star Wars show. The article didn't even touch on sports. You can assume 30/30 will come off Netflix now too. I will be shocked if they don't do something from a live sports perspective. Not saying it's going to be anything unique, just pushing the Watch ESPN platform more and possibly a means to quantify the subscriber losses. We are unique in that we cut the cable and love sports. I think a vast majority of cable cutters don't give a shit about ESPN, but those could just be people I know.
Eh only reason I watch the Marvel shows, aside from the fact that all of them but Iron First were good to OK, is because they are on Netflix and I subscribe to it. Sounds like Disney streaming service will be a hard pass for me out the gates then.
Highly recommended to used: Terrarium TV - Free 1080p HD Movies and TV Shows Android App. If you feel struggle than go with Mobdro — All the web's free video streams on your Android device. Better fell for USTVnow: TV Guide - North American TV Shows, Movie and Series. Thanks for here.
My billion dollar idea is walking into Netflix office and pitching them Netflix TV. Boom, i'm a billionaire.
Well the repo that hosted Covenant has gone dead and the developer of Covenant is done. Big blow to Kodi.
And the same developer created URL Resolver, which is a backbone to many of the streaming addons. Stuff still works for now but for how long it remains to be seen, but if you don't have it already installed then you are SOL.

Thanks Jason. Getting closer..... Amazon reportedly ditching plans to offer a cable TV bundle because it’s still too expensive Networks are still demanding streaming services stick to the traditional cable model Amazon is shelving plans to introduce a pay-TV bundle over concerns it can’t reliably turn a profit with the service, according to a report today from Reuters. The service was to be part of Amazon Channels, the company’s current cable subscription offering that lets users subscribe to HBO, Showtime, and Amazon’s new anime streaming service, among more than 100 other cable and digital-only networks. The pay-TV tier would have included local broadcast and cable channels in a skinny bundle similar to Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, and YouTube TV, but presumably for less money and with more popular channels unbundled from other, less desirable options. However, Reuters reports that Amazon couldn’t convince networks to break with the cable bundling model and offer popular channels as standalone options in a more attractive a la carte model, at least not at the rates Amazon was willing to pay. That echoes the same challenges faced by Apple, Google, Verizon, and others in their attempts to bring down the cost and expand the accessibility of digital pay-TV bundles. As it stands, rights owners still largely have control in how TV is packaged and distributed, leading to concessions like Sling’s multi-tier pricing model and the higher cost of services with more extensive channel support, like YouTube TV. While its abandoning its pay-TV bundle efforts, Amazon is still going to focus its sizable media war chest on building out its Amazon Video library with more original content — including a new television series based on The Lord of the Rings — and its Amazon Channels service with more exclusive rights deals with networks. Reuters reports that Amazon may just be biding its time, waiting for when cable subscriptions fall far enough that networks decide to more fully embrace the a la carte model. After all, no other tech company is better positioned to offer a holistic cable replacement than Amazon. The company has a top-tier streaming service, a set-top box hardware line with Fire TV, and an extensive data-backed retail network for DVD, Blu-ray, and digital rentals. More so than Apple’s iTunes, Amazon’s video platform is now the de facto destination for watching film and TV that isn’t readily available on Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and elsewhere
More info on the Kodi apocalypse that started yesterday. Even more widespread than I realized. http://koditips.com/colossus-repo-gone-urlresolver-offline/ Colossus Repo = gone. Development on URLresolver, Covenant, Bennu, and many others = done. Alpha = in deep shit with several major studios/companies if he doesn't stop Kodi development EchoCoder = developer in the Colossus Repo, he has gone dark and rumor is he was hit with a cease and desist order for his role in the Colossus Repo Ares Wizard = dead, for now DandyMedia Repo = dead, for now. Hosts Myriad, 1080p, Openload Moveis, and others
Everything works for now for all these impacted streaming addons as long as you keep them installed (and disable autoupdate for them to prevent malicious shit from happening), it's just that with URLresolver being abandoned, addons are either going to stop grabbing links or will have to find something else that will grab the links. I can't find any evidence yes or no to rather Smoothstreams depends on URLresolver
Looking to start transitioning to cable free and more smart devices in the home. You guys have any preference between Amazon Echo and Google Home? Prime member but it seems like YouTubeTV will be the way to go and it may not end up on the firestick. 3 TVs and an XBone in the house. Also looking for an inexpensive option to increase wifi signal in the house (glanced at the Ubiquiti products but don't have a lot of knowledge about tech stuff yet)
This is the way to go. I've recommended it in more than a few threads but I would not say it's inexpensive. You certainly can piece meal it and use your existing router. Regardless PM me if you have any questions about what to get and things of that nature. I'll point you in the right direction or help out where you lack the technicals.
Is this something I have to sign up for?? I'm out of the country and either going to get a VPN and set location to us (Recs on vpn????) Or try this
Ok i use to have a ton of options on what add on to use, was using Delorean a lot, but now its only Convent on there and it is not working what happened to all the options. Also tried to add Delorean but it wouldn't allow me to.
Don't even know what you are asking. Kind of a broad topic base here. Pretty much if you are able to get anything working make sure you disable auto-updates. Might be a little while until everything shakes out.
It just seems you should torrance but if you’re going to pay might as well go with an established thing.
