I'm not super interested in Black Adam, but it's a pretty weak year of movies so I'll still go and see it. Flash, not so much. I'm not spending a cent on that dipshit's movie.
I hope the Flash is as good as the test screenings are saying. It would be nice to get a reset and get an actual universe plan.
I think the issue is that these movies often benefit from involvement in a bigger picture and DC’s complete lack of one hurts the excitement. It will be a fun movie and Rock will be a badass but without that tie tie a future fight against superman or even Shazam at this moment, hype falls a little flat.
Pretty much. There are a ton of Marvel films that if they were stand alone people wouldn't go see. For me I'm just kind of over the CGI bloated nonsense we've been getting. Even with Marvel. The Batman was such a breath of fresh air compared to everything else we had been getting. I also think this is why Top Gun did so well.
I'm still holding out hope they start from scratch so any building on the rotting foundation of the Snyder films doesn't excite me.
I like Keanu but he is not a good Constantine. Would rather do a new one with a better casting choice.
Kind of sounds like someone just needs to kick the shit out of that guy and bring him back down to earth.
I don't believe they meant it that way. I think they were trying to be complimentary but didn't even realize it was the only film since. Got a chuckle out of me either way.
At this point that’s probably the most cost effective thing to do and then recast him moving forward.
In addition to money concerns, have to wonder if WB has balked at the idea of turning from Ezra on account of the perception of him clearly not being mentally stable and what they have or have not done to help them.
Mixed reviews so far for Black Adam. Sounding like a popcorn action flick, but story and pacing is all over the map.
