Considering 1. They seem committed to having guys like Burks and Bogdanovic on team next year because they didn't move them at deadline (and they honestly need their shooting) And 2. They cannot trade any first rd picks beside this year's until I think 2029 This team is going to either going to be making minor moves only in offseason or will be moving Ivey/Cade if they want a big splash and I don't see that happening Given all of that. One of Wiseman/Bagley is going to have to be moved I think regardless of who we draft, but especially if we take another big. If we take Scoot especially, the Killian experience needs to end. Roster needs a backup/role guard who can shoot in addition to Burks. It's one of areas they could improve this off-season With Wemby I could see Cade/Ivey/Bogdanovic/Wemby/Duren with Burks, Stew, and Wiseman being 6-8 with Killian and possibly a new shooting wing rounding off bench Without Wemby Scoot-Ivey-Cade-Bogdanovic-Duren (or Miller and scoot Ivey and Cade down a position). Bench looks similar but I think they rotate Scoot/Ivey/Cade minutes with bench unit so they'd want to replace Killian with another shooter.
Also who can we even get this offseason with cap space? They are totally bringing Grant back aren't they
Team will most likely be awful again (not that they'll necessarily be great with either). I wonder if they'd do a drastic trade at that point using Ivey or Duren or if they'd just ride it out another year. Roster is built pretty poorly so wonder if he'd try something else
The more I read about Charles Lee, the more I’m a fan. I especially like that he comes from a team that effectively uses two bigs. I just hope he’s so good he can figure out how to use eight of them here.
I have no clue about any of those assistants. It's all a crapshoot. I'm kind of shocked so many people have Jay Wright so high on some of these lists considering his public comments since retirement about not coaching again. That seems like a real long shot that he'd be interested in coaching anywhere again, let alone here. And the risks involved there on top of the money we'd have to pay him seem pretty significant.
Shams and JEIII say we're going to interview Kevin Ollie. Hard pass on that one when considering some of the other names (including the ones Woj mentioned).
Just saw this in replies, lol this guy (he's correct but ignoring Ivey is also in two best lineups and Killian is not)
Our local media is hilarious. Detroit News season grades for a team that was almost worst Pistons team ever Burks B-, Hami B+, Killian B+, Ivey A, Joseph B, McGruder B+, Bagley B-, Stew B+, Wiseman A-

Last night, Edwards III was mocking Pistons fans who wanted them to sign Ayton for the max last summer. This morning, Edwards III wrote a story projecting "a perfect, realistic offseason" and has us signing Jerami Grant for $27-30M per season. I'm glad we didn't max out Ayton, but come on, man.
Our favorite blogger Ku live tweeted the Tigers game he went to Saturday and has previously tweeted about Tigers and he goes full Vin talking how bad everyone was and calling people busts. Hilarious how he doesn't have that same energy for Pistons. Our beat/bloggers/etc are hilarious
