I’ll disclaim this again, I just thought he would sleep walk through 4 years and be done after he sucked, I didn’t not appropriately understand what he and his followers were
Yes because Donald Trump had been known as low key and chill guy and not a raging narcissist for decades
i know it’s not the point of the thread or the reply, but a lot of medical professionals are moving away from considering it a mental health issue. unfortunately a DSM diagnosis is required in some states in order to get treatment, but where that’s not the case it’s largely considered a hormonal issue. i don’t need a psychologist in order to be trans, i need someone who understands endocrinology.
I was watching some jags coverage on YouTube and he was commenting away. A little more toned down, but there’s no mistaking it.
Jake Scott was down in Coffee County with Rudy G trying to pry open the voting machines. Fortunately for him, he flipped on Rudy and that’s why Rudy will die in prison.
This is actually a still shot from a video of Jake Scott testifying to the grand jury. He gave them plenty of salacious details when he wasn’t barking at them
don't think he was that short iirc. i had beers with him back in like 2015 and he seemed average height. he also seemed very normal and a likeable guy. he's definitely more normal than Corch who kept asking our waitress at the brewery for "pickle infused water" so he could "get electrolytes" before we went to the casino
He seemed very normal and likeable on here for a while also. That’s why the descent into Joe Biden and AOC reply guy is so bizarre. It’s like something broke in his brain.
abby said seeing my feet swinging on the barstool like a toddler on a swing set was what made her come up to me when we first met nothing gets the ladies going more than seeing a man stand on tippy toes when ordering at the bar
yea I was in that camp he lost me in one of the confederate monument threads where he proclaimed the south would be nothing but "ghost towns" (verbatim) devoid of culture absent the publicly displayed badges of slavery
just searched ghost towns for him, idk when he transitioned accounts, and given tmb search function limitations... the only hit I saw were Merica posts about Small Pox being culpable for Native American genocide; rather than White Europeans.
He tried to do a liberal spin that the south has very little art so taking them down would harm children from having access to art It was crazy crazy
Think I made that point in response. I think he was talking about Macon and could have sworn I mentioned Allman Bros (a biracial musical group), Little Richard, Otis Redding et al just to use music as a cultural touchstone. Doubt he wouldve been swayed by literary figures.
“There’s fuck all to do in Chattanooga if you don’t go see a statue commemorating John B Hoods horrible tactics and how much he hated Johnston.”
And yeah I'm also in the liked Talking Head group. He was nearly universally liked in the before times.
I've hung out with him. He's small. I'd say 5'7 guess is probably right. As a 6' master race I felt a bit talker than him He was a really nice guy and pretty chill back pre 2016.
I know native americans didn't have the same immune systems and struggled with some European illnesses, but I've never heard that it wiped out 75-90% before we started large migrations. Is there anything remotely true about that?
last I heard this number was being re-evaluated and people think it was more like 40-60%, I’ll see if I can find the pod I heard it on
I don’t understand the point he’s even trying to make. Spain is still in Europe. Spanish exploration of the American south predated English colonization, but the death and disease they brought with them still is on European hands.
Unless contact wasn’t made until I guess the mid 1950’s that was always inevitable it’s giving the gifts with the intent to spread that’s the kicker
If we hadn't wiped a large portion of them out with disease we would have done it via more traditional genocide like we did with those that remained. I'm not sure what point he was even trying to make. It's not like we treated the native Americans who were here with respect and dignity, we stole their land and slaughtered them wholesale if they didn't move to reservations (which we took away unilaterally if there was anything of value on the land)
