Already bumped out to ISU -18.5, Sac State +17.5...and this was within like a few minutes of you posting these up. damn they got adjusted quick lol
sharp money... i suggest playing as much as you can early season. as with football, lines tighten up in conference play.
picked up Purdue at -4.5, now it's up to -5. Not as confident about it since they lost a few of their guys last season like JaJuan Johnson, while Iona has most of their guys back. Always feels odd that smaller games Vegas doesn't have a read on total points, so it throws up a # like the Tulsa-Western KY game where it's like they take combine the average of each team's PPG difference between this season and last. Right now it's 131.5 for that game, or 63.5 and 68 for each team. And then it dropped to 130.5...
Waffling on taking Seton Hall to win against VCU at 5:30... VCU lost their top 4-5 guys from last season's team. And shit, line on GT to win against St Johns went from -105 to -125 and Tech swing to -1.5 favorite. So much for the value in playing that one.
i still advocate tailing these picks, even with line movement (as you can see from prior days there hasn't been a huge difference)
Yeah it's still the novelty of seeing you calling the picks then how quickly the line can change in a couple of minutes.
As long as you keep feeding us these picks, we will assume they are yours, then send you fine hand made gifts if you keep it up.
oh nah didn't mean that at all. just you letting us know what they are relatively shortly after they're made.
i will post these with some caution, but reason to believe these are big, big plays and the lines aren't likely to move seton hall +2.5 st. john's +2.5 they are either big plays or smokescreens. all i can say really.
the Iona +5 i picked up after feeling like an idiot for going on Purdue -4.5, helped offset western kentucky's masonry work in their losing effort. Going to have to remember that Iona can make shots and has some good upperclassmen on its team...
And now just waiting on the lines to come out for the tournament games...well, they're up at 5dimes now. Too bad BOL is slow to update.
Looking closely at Marquette, Drexel, Liberty, and Lehigh. Liberty and Marquette look like they have good value in them. Drexel's looks interesting and so does Lehigh's. Also Stanford's. Well, I was right about Lehigh. Can't believe Liberty lost to a school that lost to Presbyterian.
11/18/11 6-5 Arizona St. +6.5 W Mississippi -6 L Youngstown St. -5.5 L Miss St +4.5 W Nova -15 L GT +2 W Valpo +2 W E Mich -1 W Cleveland St -6 L Purdue +1 W Witchita St +1.5 L
Went on Louisville -4, Eastern Kentucky -2.5 and Duquesne -1, Drake -5.5, and Lehigh -3.5. GT was a good call, they should improve now that Grant Hill Jr. Glen Rice Jr. is off his 3 game suspension. Like GT's coach though he comes across as kind of dorky.
11/19/11 4-3 Loyola MMount +4.5 L Santa Clara -9 W Oregon St +7 W NC State +5 L Duquesne -3 W William & Mary +4 W Akron U144 L
11/20/11 9-3 W Carolina OVER 145 W Furman UNDER 126.5 W Towson OVER 135.5 L Nebraska -8.5 W Iona -3 W Northwestern -2 W USCe -10 L E Illinois OVER 130 L LSU +3 W Duquesne OVER 148 W Wichita St OVER 130.5 W Creighton +4 W Oregon U140 Creighton OVER 141
11/21/11 UMass -2 W Marquette -19 Michigan +5.5 (BIG PLAY) W Ole Miss -5 W Central Mich +5 Sam Houston +9 L Colorado St. -4.5 George Washington U143.5 L TCU o131 W Fla Intl u137.5 L
Only lines that were close for me are Sam Houston +8 1/2 and Colorado -6. The rest had moved by 2 points at least.
at this point the lines changing have only accounted for 1-2 different results per night. i say bet on all until proven otherwise.
