We binged this a weekend ago. No clue about the video game but it was pretty cool. I’m guessing the main characters were the playable characters in the game and the queen elf and demon husband elf were the “ancients”?
i loved it but i also love dota (though I'm not familiar with the lore) davian/dragon knight, mirana, luna, terror blade, and invoker are playable characters, though invokers' powers in the show are obviously far different than in the game (whereas most others are pretty similar, which makes it sort of fun to watch). none of the elves, dragons, or other characters are in the game. nor is the goddess selemene or the old goddess mene.
