So now that's the biggest?
This picture needs a penny or something for size reference
yes that is now our biggest loan ever and its 28" long and almost an inch thick
Because google I'm an expert in all things but 400ish grams at $60 a gram says 24k. why would somebody pawn that and why would you not just sell that shit for weight when the term is up?
I’d assume it’s because they’re borrowing what they think they need to pay back not necessarily what it’s worth, but if you have a $24,000 necklace and you need to borrow $9,000 it’s likely you’re not a wise user of dollars
So yes 24k is $60.24/gram the necklace is 10kt at $25.10/gram x308gram $7728 and the bracelet is 14kt at $35.14/gram x108g $3793 in reality its worth $11521 in scrap gold
so you go in making a guaranteed $2600
Could easily be less or possibly more depending on the gold market
What will you collect if they come back for it?
About tree fiddy.
Florida allows an interest rate of 25% per 30 days on a 60 day loan. I dropped it down to 18% so $1530 for 30 days and a pro rated daily rate of $51/day in the 2nd 30 days
The guy basically has a mortgage payment and only borrowed a couple $k
pretty much but he doesnt have to actually pay the loan back and it wont ruin his credit if he doesnt pick it up. we're really only meant to be used if you need like an extra $100 bucks to get you through till payday
Gold went up $15/ozt today!
Have whites first thing in the morning coming in looking for guns and ammo
Refusing them service for any reason would be cool
we dont deal in either so that was good
Sending Scrap Silver off to the refiner today. 37.5 Pounds Troy
Too many stolen guns?
we've never done firearms
Can y'all see the pic I just posted?
I love this thread, it’s like the antiques roadshow of TMB
Pawned or sold? Also is that Marvin the Martian flipping a bird?
This was the $7500 pawn from 2 months back that came out for sale today and yes it is
What would you do with that weird custom jewelry? I can't imagine anyone would buy the stuff with the guy's initials in it? Or the Marvin the Martian?
What is it worth? Who is the target market for threat Marvin the Martian piece, I have so many questions...
Scrap it. He wouldn’t’ve taken the pawn if it was something shitty like gold fill.
I got $50 on the Marvin the Martian piece.
its getting melted down the bottom 4 pieces and the necklace on the right are worth $7500 plus the diamonds scrapped to my wholesaler. It's not his initials. its the initials for the name of his group of friends
one of the pieces, the gold was actually mixed wrong and a little higher karat than stamped
just never got into it.
How/when do you discover that?
I discovered that after the fact. its more than likely 12kt instead of 10kt. When they came in I was just making sure it was the Karat it said it was
Not seafoam green? I’ll pass, thanks.
Imagine being so hard up you pawned your cooler.
How much do you offer on something like that? Feel like I would offer $100 for pawn or $75 to just buy it.
Pawned or sold to you?
How much did you pay/loan?
Pawned for $135 out for sale for $250
I mean, we're still in an extended pandemic. we have no idea of the circumstances lumped on anybody.
I agree but if your that hard up for cash, just sell it for $200-225 and now you have the $130 you needed plus $70-100 to buy another cooler.
I wasn’t passing judgment on the guy.
I probably read that into your post where I shouldn't have.
I’ve had a hard couple months sorry mister perfect
So was it good crack?
That's probably one of his most expensive possessions
