From what I'm hearing on this:
Manning was offered a promotional contract above $600, and EA has already produced his "I'm in the game" social promotions graphic, and a formal opt-out would be news to Opendorse and EA.

So I think this entire "not opting into the game" deal is either fake or a negotiation ploy by his camp.

 

This reminds me, only 18 more years until Nickelodeon opens the time capsule they buried in 1992.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Will Compton said him and Lewan will be in NCAA

I think one year Madden had some college teams in it, with NFL players filling the roster and Compton was on that Nebraska team. Wonder if there will be something similar.

Made me laugh how bad we’ve been lately that Compton was on there due to lack of Husks in the NFL.

 

You can apparently play in “Plandemic mode” with no fans in the stands and Compton, Lewan, Pollack, and Macafee just talking about China while you sling it around the yard.

Weird question, but have they said anything about including the actual names of FCS teams or will it still just be generic directional?

 

FCS teams definitely aren't in the game, but I haven't read anything about them using generic placeholder teams. I assume they would.
