Oh that reminds me I’ll need to buy NBC Sports Gold again Spoiler I know, like with FIFA, I am part of the problem
i can tell that i am definitely not going to internalize it until about halfway through the season, when i eventually get into 5 simultaneous drunken arguments itt
Excited to start the season off #livid when we don't get a new GK. But until then, everything is great and fantastic.
Excited to be here. Bringing players into the club is overrated, we're gonna run it back with the same squad and see how that works out for us.
I remember that, just thought there was something specifically shitty about gold, besides paying for something that used to be free.
Streaming has gotten a million times better since the dark days of being forced to find a stream in Arabic or some other language.
No I never had any problems with the service. Just that we’re paying for something that used to be free. But I spend $50 on dumber things regularly
I have to get on that acestream biz. Clicking on a few ads for the in-browser stream isn't the worst but if I can skip that step, that would be great.
I’ll give my 50 bucks to nbc if It helps them keep the coverage rights and quality. The aesthetic, audio, and sporting juxtaposition of gameday and EPL on Saturday mornings running into the 330 kickoffs has become a vital part of my happiness throughout the year.
If you’re not having to close at least 2 porn or gambling pop ups, you’re not illegally streaming to the full potential.
And given what the other prices are, I’d be shocked if it’s below $60 next year https://www.nbcsports.com/gold/nbc-sports-gold-packages-prices ‘Coming soon’ like the giant subscription dick shoved up your ass
Long time friend of mine texted me just now. He tells me that he watched the WC at my suggestion (he hated soccer a number of years ago) and really got into it and that he was going to start following the EPL this year in place of the NFL. Poor bastard decided on Tottenham over Leicester and Everton. At least we can still be friends.
He is indeed smart - a very talented lawyer. He's also an Islanders, Mets, former Jets, and still a Rutgers fan. It's a safe assumption that his back is covered with scars.
Where do you see “coming soon”? Though I do see that it says this year it’s a minimum of 4 appearances per club where last season was 3.
The skill and experience required to close the ads in the right order is something I had lost touch with until the Gold bullshit last year.
The resounding chorus to "why so cheap" is that he only had a year left on his contract. Sure, but San Antonio just traded a rental Kawhi with a year left for DeRozan. Chelsea got ripped off, and they'll be lucky to hold onto Hazard as well.
I don’t get the Chelsea got ripped off mantra at all. Courtois’ family is in Madrid, he’d been open about his desire to return there, and had a year remaining on his contract. If anything, Chelsea should’ve sold him last summer when they had a bit of bargaining power.
Upon further review, thats only £1.43 trillion according to a 3 year estimate. I'd like to rephrase... Spoiler GDP of the entire UK.
It has to be championship or bust for Liverpool this year, right? World record CB and GK signings, ~100m invested in the midfield, and they’ve proven they can beat City. Doubt they’ll get nearly as favorable a UCL draw this year, but you never know.
It’s just exciting to finally address the major needs of this team. It would be a major disappointment to not seriously contend this season
how is Liverpool expected to line up? same back four, same front three and then some combination of Henderson/Fabinho/Keita/Ox/Wijnaldum in a three man midfield?
While I don't want Liverpool to win the title, it would be nice to have a legit title race this year.
They might not get 100 again, but it’s hard to see City falling that far. Maybe 94 or so, but are Liverpool making that big of a jump? Who the fuck knows what’ll happen on the other side of Manchester with year 3 Jose, Arsenal and Chelsea surely don’t look like contenders, and Spurs, while hopefully getting a boost from the new stadium, simply don’t have the depth to do it.
