When Jules says "we flushed them down the toilet," I think that was the most I've audibly reacted to a show in a long time, I gasped. And that was before the foot chase and the Morphine. I'll be rewatching this week for sure.
It’s even funnier that she’s basically the exact same character she played in Baskets just selling drugs now
Zendaya was amazing. The little sister and mother were phenomenal too given the writing. Thought the running scene went way long, but whatever.
I rewatched it last night and somehow it didn't register to me that Laurie was trying to drug her into sex slavery stuff. Jesus.
I just started watching this a few days ago, and I got caught up. Really like it. Fuck this Nate fucker. Only wish bad things for him. Zendaya has really impressed me with her acting. I had never seen any of her movies before.
- That ending scene was tough to listen to. - the mystery of what Maddie was going to do with the tape was disappointing. - Ethan and Kate, - Ali pointing out that Rue’s sister needs love too, was a great touch.
Ali is awesome why did Nate give it to Jules? I thought he’s worried about it taking down the business he’s gonna take over
Jules having it keeps it out of the hands of anyone who would want to release it. I think he also does really like Jules and was trying to extend an olive branch by giving her permanent leverage over him.
Kat being too much of a pussy to be honest and end things with Ethan by claiming to be the victim of gaslighting to then reverse gaslight Ethan is the epitome of why I hate Kat
Idk if Lexi is more likely to end up with Ethan or Fezco. Hopefully the latter. Love them both and they have power couple potential.
I don’t even hate kat it’s just that there is no point to that storyline. I mean what do her or Ethan bring to the show at all Im hoping/guessing the next episode is gonna focus on the mouse/fezco situation
it might be bad but it was a) a look at how dumb teen love is and b) a much needed break from the other two storylines which are at like a level 9 or 10 on anxiety level
Probably but it was going to be impossible to follow up last weeks episode. Both Rue and Fez are due some tough real world lessons so it will be interesting to see what level the show takes it to. Jail, death etc
I thought that episode was outstanding. Holding a mirror up to people who have an incredible lack of self awareness was great.
