ill still give them credit for how easy they make it to beat liverpool though
after a handful of seasons in '20 managerial mode, and now just finishing my third in '21, I've finally been offered the USMNT position
"Well Gregg, during my time as head man we were always highly successful with..."
-Me in like a month, probably
You’re playing 21?
well yeah I'm not buying '22, only reason I got '21 was to get a full season of FUT since I started really late in the cycle with '20
My first match is a friendly against Mexico in LA, the entire crowd's red white and blue
LA a better sports town than Columbus
As always, I hate you
I wish this would make EA make a better game but I know better. And Konami isn’t going to start making something that isn’t trash
It's very annoying to have a decent amount of teams with generic names. Is there a way to upload original teams created by users like you can do for custom playbooks in Madden?
Doing a career mode in Serie A sucks so much in FIFA 22. No Serie B, so no relegation. Juve, Atalanta, Roma and Lazio all use generic names and stadiums.
Don’t believe so
pes was going to do the same, but it is actually a greater insult for those russian clubs to remain in the game
Time to change the thread title. EA SPORTS FC 23 on the way.
this is how I stop caring about video games I guess. this was the last one I still played regularly (even though it's not good).
I would not expect to see much change to the actual game
There will be a FIFA 23 as the final one. EA said July 2023 will be when it switches
the will still have rights to the majority of teams/players?
that’s okay, i’ll still keep playing that garbage
That’s my understanding
yes. except for those random teams that pull out like Lazio, Roma, Juventus.
They don't have half the teams in Italy, missing teams in many other leagues.
Eventually it will just be EA Sports EPL
I think that's a bit of an overstatement. what is EA supposed to do if teams sign exclusive deals with PES.
Sure it's a bit of an overstatement but I do believe in time this is exactly where it's headed. I think EA is making bank with FUT so forking out money to match deals or gain exclusive rights should be a priority. Especially when you do jack shit to improve the actual game play.
If I concede the point that its not financially possible then allow a roster/team creation upload. Just like you see with the old NCAA games. That way the users can fill the gap upload and download teams so if you want to play a manager mode in Italy Atlanta, Lazio, Napoli, Juventus aren't generic teams. I believe some teams in France and Spain are also missing
They still have by far the majority of teams. PES or whatever it’s called now has barely anything compared to EA
Not even close, they’re basically only missing the 4 from Serie A that you mentioned.
They don’t have Brazilian Serie A players but have clubs.
They have all of Ligue 1 and I believe all of Ligue 2.
They have all of LaLiga and I believe all of the 2nd division
All of the top 3 levels in Germany
All of the top 4 levels in England
I get that and I'm not trying to say they don't. It's clearly the game to choose if you want the most possible. I'm probably in the minority when it comes to these games, I love to play off-line in manager mode and I play in Italy. I find it lame that the EPL had every team and like 4 full sub divisions, all jerseys and stadiums for the most part. Yet you can't even field a full top 20 in Italy.. And let's not get into the fact they don't even attempt to have lower leagues for Italy or the correct uniforms. They clearly have gone from a game to serve all to a game to serve its top money making fanbase. That's cool, I just wont purchase any soccer games.
Pretty sure PES is free but that doesn’t really solve the problem either as you only have a handful
No it doesn't. I just feel like EA is just top dog and they shouldn't be out bid on anything. They shouldn't be having an issue with naming rights. Its the biggest game for the genre and its a cash cow.
And if its going to be short on teams allow a feature where you can upload user created teams/uniforms/stadiums.
Thank fuck I love Football Manager
had the itch to try out create a club so guess what this dummy just bought
was discounted at least
with the game coming in tomorrow I decided to give my fut squad a proper goodbye and noticed that I've got 750k in coins to throw away, premium gold's the best pack available but we're looking at a ton of them of them so let's see if I get anything cool
btw it was jarring as fuck playing with this team again after who knows how long now I've been staying on the career mode side of things, felt like I put a cheat code on
this is boring
Playing FUT is a mental illness
I like to live dangerously
Haha. Same here. I enjoy the chaos
man they really made that ball hitting the back of the net sound effect satisfying as hell this year
so apparently create a club home attendance being capped at 5000 is a thing for some reason
Spent hours last night updating transfers manually only to log on this morning to see none saved for some reason. Hate how there is no save file for the rosters
Not like an auto save because it clearly didn't work yesterday, I mean like a way to manually save a roster file and load it later. Is that an option? Because I have not seen that
Yes. Not on my console so I don’t recall exactly what the wording is but I know because I’ve done it.
I believe it’s on the same set of options as the squad management stuff
Found it, its under profiles not in the squad management section. Wish I knew that last night
Don’t the squads update themselves for transfers?
I dont think summer ones, only in season ones because they want you to buy fifa 23
the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long
