Good to see the matchmaking in pro-clubs is still shit. But EA couldn’t do cross play on pro clubs because they were fixing the matchmaking.
Improved over 21 but I can see the power shot feature getting absolutely abused. It’s satisfying but it’s a damn near guarantee if you just put the shot on target with a good player.
Very pumped to put Charlotte FC in the fourth tier and work up to Champions of Europe with entirely existing players and youth academy products. Hopefully no more than 6-7 years.
A new thing I’ve noticed is that they tell you from jump if a player isn’t willing to move in the transfer hub so you don’t waste your time
If you do start out coaching a way lower tier club, there are a ton of free agents worth between 5-13 million dollars. They’re easy to offload and turn a profit.
Very lame that the World Cup mode add on is not available and that there are over 10 World Cup teams missing from fifa 23
LMAO. So good. I was just fired as Charlotte FC manager six months in (January 2023) despite topping League Two table by 15 points for failing to cut the wage bill by 15k per week and not signing a promising player in the winter window. Fuck this game. My two good players made 10-12k per week and most of my starters make 4-5 per week. They wanted me to offload my starting line up while also having a top priority be win the league. I doubt anybody here follows Charlotte FC, but it’s 10x as funny when you know we ACTUALLY fired our coach 10 games in to our inaugural season this year despite being in playoff positions and have had two team presidents leave in the last year. I doubt I’ll start over. Fuck that shit.
I've only been able to play a few games but I think it's a lot more fun. But games are now way higher scoring I've noticed
Nice, I got Ruben Dias. I just wish you could roll through an entire thing without going back to the menu each time
got invited to the EA FC closed beta. played one match last night. seems fine, no major changes to the game play as usual. will hopefully get to play around with it more tonight.
Listened to the athletics pod on the new one. How much are people freaking out because the girls are rated the same as the guys?
State of fifa now? Haven’t played in about 5 years but thinking about getting new one after buying a PlayStation because of CFB game
Last year to me was the worst one yet on a game that’s been steadily declining since like FIFA 17 I didn’t get last year until around Black Friday and may not get this year at all
Dynasty was terrible two years ago. Pro Clubs wasn’t great either but I enjoy that game mode enough that I play it anyway. Didn’t buy last year. In a slap in the face they turned off online features in fifa 23 in mid September. haven’t touched it since CFB came out. They spend every dollar on FUT and everything else is an afterthought. It sucks.
Why do you think everyone fucking hates SugarShaun? Other than his being a City fan. And a Buckeye. And a Deshaun Watson supporter. And all of his posts. And just his overall personality in general.
I do not own EA FC 25 for the record I maintain that my hand was forced into FUT with their shitty career mode and unreliable pro clubs teammates
I got EA 25 last week. The interface is clunky, you have to get just the right angle in cutaway scenes (pressers/negotiations) for it to register and more than half the teams are either missing third kits or flat out have generic kits. But hey, at least you can play at Bristol City’s stadium!
I play FUT (I do not spend money on packs) and the changes they made to that mode are horrible so I hope you’re all happy that we’re miserable too
I've bought every FIFA since 07, which means I'm already a dumbass. I think the difference this year is that for the first time, I actually FEEL like a dumbass for buying this year's version. So far, it's awful.
