Post your lineups and tactics here

Important notes: Pay attention to how you the formation you choose lines up. For example: 4-2-3-1 has wings as LAM and RAM not LM/LW and RM/RW so has different instruction options than 4-2-3-1 (2) or any 4-3-3.

Also, the tactics have changed so make sure to read the options I list.

    Link to the Season thread:

For each player you can give instructions (All of these also have a default that is a mix of the options unless I note something is default) anything not specified will be left at default, or whatever the team has it set to

ST/CF/LF/RF: Support Runs (Drift Wide, Stay Central), Attacking Runs (Get In Behind, Target Man, False 9), Interceptions (Aggressive, Normal, Conservative), Defensive Support (Come Back, Stay Forward)

LW/RW: Defensive Support (Come Back On D, Stay Forward), Chance Creation (Cut Inside, Stay Wide, Free Roam), Support Runs (Get In Behind, Come Short, Target Man), Support On Crosses (Get Into Box, Stay On Edge of Box), Interceptions (Agressive, Normal, Conservative)

LM/RM: Defensive Support (Come Back On D, Stay Forward), Chance Creation (Cut Inside, Stay Wide, Free Roam), Support Runs (Get In Behind, Come Short, Target Man), Support On Crosses (Get Into Box, Stay On Edge of Box), Interceptions (Agressive, Normal, Conservative)

CAM/LAM/RAM: Defensive Support (Come Back On D, Stay Forward), Support on Crosses (Get Into The Box, Stay on Edge of Box), Positioning Freedom (Stick To Position which is default, Free Roam, Drift Wide), Interceptions (Agressive, Normal, Conservative)

CM: Attacking Support (Stay Back, Get Forward, Drop Between Defenders), Support on Crosses (Get Into The Box, Stay on Edge of Box), Positioning Freedom (Stick To Position which is default, Free Roam), Interceptions (Agressive, Normal, Conservative), Defensive Position (Cover Center, Cover Wing which is default)

DM: Defensive Behavior (Cut Passing Lanes, Man Mark), Attacking Support (Stay Back, Get Forward, Drop Between Defenders), Interceptions (Agressive, Normal, Conservative), Defensive Position (Cover Center, Cover Wing which is default)

CB: Attacking Support (Stay Back which is default, Join Attack, Play As Striker), Interceptions (Agressive, Normal, Conservative)

LB/RB/LWB/RWB: Attacking Runs (Join The Attack, Stay Back), Interceptions (Agressive, Normal, Conservative), Run Type (Inverted, Overlap)

Roles you must choose someone for each:
    Captain
    Left Short FK
    Right Short FK
    Long FK
    Penalties
    Left Corner
    Right Corner

    Tactics:
    Defending
Style: Balanced, Pressure on heavy touch, Press after possession loss, Constant pressure, Drop back

    Width: 1-10

Depth: 1-10 (1-3 your team shape is more dropping deep, 4-7 more balanced, 8-10 high for more of a pressing team shape)

    Offense

Style: Balanced, Long ball, Fast build up, Possession

    Width: 1-10

Players in box: 1-10 (1-3 you will have less players in box in crossing situations, 4-7 some, 8-10 lots)

Corners: 1-5 (1-2 is low amount of men in box, 3 is normal, 4-5 is high amount of men in box)

Free Kicks 1-5 (1-2 is low amount of men in box, 3 is normal, 4-5 is high amount of men in box)

They have 5 settings for all of those (Ultra Defensive, Defensive, Balanced, Attacking, Ultra Attacking). I won’t have any way to know if it’s using anything but balanced, I’ll assume not and that’s just for when you’re actually playing so I’ll plan to enter what you put as the Balanced/standard setup. If someone wants to send multiple I’m willing to do all 5 if you want

Every year a group of guys from TSB does a fantasy draft based on real life to make teams. Ranges from 18-22 teams typically.

After we draft full 23 man rosters for then guys post here what formation and tactics they want and I run a season in FIFA to see how it turns out

Yes. No one has to actually have the game besides me, matches aren’t actually played. All simmed.

The rules though are that the first 11 rounds has to be your starting XI and you have to draft 2 players each from Bundesliga, EPL, Serie A, LaLiga and then 2 from any other leagues. Last spot can be a 3rd from any of the above

Also to everyone, when I like your post that means I’ve got your tactics in so don’t make changes to it after that; make a new post.

You can make the post now with lineup and edit to include who you want on the bench before I like it.

Your bench doesn’t have to be in the order you draft it either. Must include a GK on the bench.

I look at the skills more than just positions, but fwiw, Thauvin's 2nd position is RM. The only guys really out of place if you would is Rabiot but I ran short on options.

I believe I have a strong back 4 with a stellar GK and a solid CDM in Can. I think Kane, Sane, Thauvin and De Jong will account for enough goals to give me a shot at this

Giving shit is as much a part of this as the sim itself.
    RCM ≠ RM though

I think it actually could work based on skill sets. Just has guys in different positions than they normally play

yeah it's not even that he wouldn't be a good 10 (though he has never shown a ton of goal scoring ability or instinct)

it is just that playing him there with that type of midfield just really doesn't utilize his talents. he is way more of a 6/8 than an 8/10 or 10. Play him in a midfield 3 with someone deeper and someone slightly advanced and he is the perfect player. Play him as a 10 with Rabiot wide left and he's pretty mediocre

No clue. I see the DC United logo but not the lineup. For me it just says [ IMG ] without the spaces

Does Thiago Silva already have a yellow card?

    or does that signify captain?

some serious confidence in that back four.

also that’s not really how the 4-3-3 holding is usually. not sure if you meant a different formation.

Just a heads up that formation doesn’t exist.
433 holding is DM and 2 CMs.
433 attack is is CAM and 2 CMs. I can make that formation for you but I’d have to manually move the CMs from 433 attack out wide to LM and RM.

    Just let me know

Hey SugarShaun hope you haven't done these yet...

After much deliberation among our coaching staff, we have decided to make a change in tactics. Apologies for any double work. TIA

My OP was updated to reflect the tactics we would like to have.
