Yes. The benefit is that a 10-2 Bama/UGA/LSU is getting in just about every year. Expansion of the CFP should be a huge driver in OOC scheduling.
Feeling that the FSU/Bama games might get cancelled is that Bama also has Wisc on the schedule in ‘25 after playing in Madison in ‘24. One of those games will get cancelled if the SEC is playing nine conference games in ‘25 and don’t see Bama giving up the home game.
10-2 is getting in every year irregardless of OOC. Hell think 10-3 gets them in too. But why risk it when the sec is already tough as it is

I’m going, because I always go, but playing outside in New Orleans in early September is a lot less attractive than when we played them in the dome.
If Ole Miss just wanted a “home” game in the dome I’m sure one of the other LA schools they might not possibly lose to would’ve taken them up on the offer.
Michigan plays Washington, OSU, Texas, Oregon and USC. A shame we can no longer singularly bankroll G5 programs.
