The good thing about preseason football is the lack of gamesmanship. A coach will flat out say they’re going to work on the running game and they’ll actually do it, thus chewing the clock.
Just going through my bets. Just got back from Hockey exhausted. 4-1 Badminton. There was some fuckery in the loss. When I handicapped the match at 11am, it was -195. When I made the bet around 6:30 PM, it was -110. Should have stayed away
If you guys want rush, and quick bets, these are my favorites. If you learn tennis, you can make some good money. Wendel Clark my future children may not be able to eat because of Brazil Zambia, please explain yourself.
Just woke up and I have no idea. I think ohhaithur could be correct in his assesmemt. This one going to hurt me big
It looks like Zambia got a red card in the 13th minute which might have hurt the bet and made Zambia just park the bus
1-0 I dont get this fucking game. I looked at the live odds at the 70th minute and the Over 1.5 was -1250. I am completely flabbergasted
The season is almost here and with the HOF game next week I’m getting the itch for real but I wanted to talk about CFB, is anyone got their eye on any futures? Season win totals, conference, and NC stuff? Or what about week 1 lines, have you found any you like? Thanks and I’ll hang up to listen.

Took the day off. Track and Field tonight. This is where I think I might crush. Two of my real good friends now from the Cigar Shop are Track guys. One guys daughter is Top 5 in State of FL as a Sophomore. Other was a star runner at Southern University. So Ive become big into track with them. Thats where I broke the Shacarri news in this thread to take Fraser Pryce at +165 when the Books didn't know it yet.
Only play I have is Moody under 10.5. This is solely based on some rumblings I read online and then looked at about 5 mocks that all had him going 8 or 9. One book had him under 11.5 for mucho juico.
I just bet about $7k to win $1.5k on a H2H Archery and my guy hit 9 10s to win easily. Ive gone insane
But if you can't put the bet in, I can book it for you if you want. dblplay1212 would vouch for me for booking bets
If you would rather use a local guy use Hawks11 And tell him I sent you so I can get the $50 referral.
I have summer league games, but not sure about overall summer league winner. I’ll go ahead and make my annual post that if you need a bookie who’s been on the board for more than a decade, I’m your guy. Easy site, live wagers, etc. No rollover, too. I give $50 startup to TMB folks and $50 referrals, as well as random free play throughout the season. If you want more info, feel free to ask or DM.
24 more days until CFB! Anyone else excited? What I mean is I’m freaking dying over here. I tried betting a soccer game and it’s just the wrong damn football for me.
About to dive into some win totals this weekend I think. Not sure why but I love betting the pre season totals, just a little bit on a handful of teams. I guess it gives me a rooting interest for when Nebraska is 2-4 mid season.
I got talked into joining a keeper NFL league this year. I don’t really love fantasy, but this is a group of guys who live all over so gambling chat keeps us in touch. Anyone have any good sites/resources for fantasy ratings/projections? I didn’t see a thread on it figured I’d start here.
Gold and Silver for climbing were 40-1 and 80-1 respectively. I am kicking myself for not sprinkling the underdogs because of how weird the scoring format was.
Win totals are great. I’ve taken a few and the line moved my direction so you know, it me MrLongo the Sharp haha.
just fired it up for football season as well after a nice layoff from gambling. on the Steelers with you
preseason football is great bc there are certain coaches that try to win vs some that don’t care. almost all of the spreads are around -3 so I just go off coaching matchups harbaugh is practically free money https://walterfootball.com/betting_PRE.php
That's cool. I don't want to take your money so I'm not going to join but I'm glad it's working out well for you
Hall of Fame Game Betting Trends In the 14 NFL Hall of Fame Games tracked by our Bet Labs software, favorites have a slight edge at 6-5-3 against the spread (ATS). Thirteen of those 14 games closed with spreads of three or fewer points, while the Washington Football Team was the largest favorite after closing at -4.5 against the Indianapolis Colts back in 2018. And yes, Washington did cover that number by beating Indy, 30-16. Hall of Fame Game totals have been relatively balanced as well over the past 14 seasons, with overs owning an 8-6 edge. The lowest over/under (31.5) during that span came in the same Washington vs. Colts 2008 matchup that also closed with the largest spread, while the highest total was four years later when the Arizona Cardinals vs. New Orleans Saints matchup closed at 37 in the 2012 Hall of Fame Game. And as you read above, the latest Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh over/under movement has pushed that number down to 31.5, currently tying for the lowest Hall of Fame Game total tracked by our Bet Labs software.
With the season about to start, I thought it’d be fun to share your luckiest win and your worst beat. Luckiest: I had the over in the Suns Timberwolves game a few years ago. It wasn’t even close to hitting, so I quit checking the score. I later saw where it went into overtime and I barely won. Worst: I had Kentucky +53.5 live line against Alabama. Alabama had the ball at the UK 19 with 1 minute left and it was 4th and 5. If Alabama got the first down, they’d take a knee. If Kentucky got a stop, they’d run the clock out too. What happened? Alabama ran for a 19-yard TD.
the 2019 Hawaii - Fresno State game was the wildest game I have ever bet on. It was a loss, but such a fun ride after a long day of CFB gambling.
Luckiest: as you all know I'm #teamarb and one game I set up absolutely massive 1-point middles on both the spread and o/u (all + money). Lucky me got a missed shot with a few seconds left and the trailing team didn't foul, letting me win all four bets...still chasing that high Unluckiest: same situation with middles, meaningless half court buzzer-beater goes in to get me a double middle and they review it even though it was a 10-point game. Ball still on the fingertips
I got way too many stories. If you bet 2nd half college basketball every day, the stories In a week are enough for a lifetime. But I’ll post some vivid ones I remember Wins: The #1 luckiest win for me I’ll never forget this. It’s mostly because how it played out on TV. It was Florida Syracuse basketball. Close to around 2011. Florida was 5.5 point underdogs. Me and my buddy had Florida with the points and are watching the game. Tight game throughout but Syracuse goes up 7 with like 4 seconds left. Florida inbounds the ball, runs up court, the cameras show Billy Donovan and Jim Boeheim shaking hands. You hear the buzzer and then all you hear is SWISH. Buzzer beater to cover the spread. I wish there was a way to find the entire game and you guys could see it and hear it, it was amazing Heat +1000 Live ML down 5. When ray Allen hit that 3. I wasn’t betting big back then. I put $100 on it and when it went to OT. I got the Spurs at like +180 so I made a good arb. 2014 Spurs/thunder live over in the playoffs. Russell hit two free throws to tie the game and Spurs missed a shot to go to OT. This is when I started a lot bigger and was one of my biggest bets
Losses Again so many but the ones that stick out. Around 2009 2010 area, UCLA Fullerton in the 24 hour marathon. Lost a 2nd half over that went to double OT Masters - Had Angel Cabrera at +15000 to win. Lost in a playoff to Adam Scott Spurrier took an intentional safety at South Carolina to not cover the spread as the last play of the game UFC fight - can’t remember who the hell it was, but I had Over 2.5 rounds and the guy was cut. The doctor stopped the fight at like 2:37 left in the 3rd round. Around 2018
My all-time worst actual loss has to be the 2012 Belk Bowl though. Duke +9.5, tied with 90 seconds left, just running out the clock to set up a game-winning FG. Even if they miss it goes to OT and I'm good. Fumble, 80 yard TD, pick-six.
Everyone on FanDuel should check if they got a risk free MLB single game parlay. Some are as much as $500
