Ever heard of a thing called online multiplayer? Gears 1 multiplayer was revolutionary and fun as hell.
Will be making a clan for this Gears on game battles if anyone is interested in investing the time. A huge fan of the entire franchise, spent the most time on Gears 1. Best series I've ever played. Cannot wait for this to come out.
Haven't played Gears in a very long time, and when I did, I wasn't very good. With that disclaimer out of the way, I'd very much like to play Gears with you fine TMB gentlemen.
Then I'd highly recommend the books. The story is deep, and obviously melancholy. I do find it funny the protagonists are the communist COG (Coalition of Ordered Governments) and the antagonists are the democratic Indie's (Independent Republic). Very easy to read too, blew through 3 of them in a week. Found a shitty video I made back in HS those were the days It was a big deal when my mom got me a capture card to have proof for clan matches.
I believe they touched on that a bit in Gears judgement. I really don't know much about the story outside of the games, so I'll probably read these sometime just to get more background on it all. Really interested in the Pendulum Wars.

I haven't played Gears in so long. There is just something about a shotgun duel that I cannot master. I feel like I'm fucking blasting these dudes, yet we dance around and around until they blow me in half. Shit sucks.
School has started back,so I have a ton more free time. Once I get my new computer set up I'll be right back at it again for the most part.

There are so many goddamn maps. I'm up to level 12, so I've been playing a little bit, and I'm still coming up on maps I haven't played before.

The first pre-order bonus is the "Brothers to the End Elite Gear Pack." "Brothers to the End" includes three playable characters including Zombie Dom, to drive home the point that "there’s no keeping a good soldier down." It will also include two golden weapon skins. “Tomorrow Anya” is named after her famous words following the end of the Locust War (“Tomorrow Marcus. We finally have a tomorrow.”) Her appearance is based on her look in the Gears of War 4 television commercial, “Tomorrow,” where she was introduced as the mother of JD Fenix. “Old Man Marcus” features an older Marcus Fenix as unveiled in the E3 2016 media briefing demo. Twenty-five years after the Locust War, Marcus and the COG have long since parted ways. His facial hair has grown long and his COG regulation kit has been replaced with by civilian clothes. “Zombie Dom” proves there’s no keeping a good solider down, at least in the form of this character skin created as tribute to Marcus’ dearly departed best friend Dominic Santiago. The Elite Gear pack also includes the Gold Wave Lancer and Gold Wave Gnasher — updated versions of the gold weapon skins awarded to the series’ most-dedicated day one players. Cant help but laugh at the Zombie Dom skin. Saw it on my facebook feed and decided to look at the comments. People were raging about the "sacrilege" of bringing Dom back like this.
