She's coming back. When Cameron Diaz headlines Netflix’s action comedy “Back in Action” alongside Jamie Foxx next year, it will mark her first movie in 11 years.
And I have a half-day tomorrow so hoping to catch a Saturday Night and Smile 2 double feature before picking up kids ;)
alien Romulus is great they really should have figured out something besides the bad CGI Ian Holm stuff though
that was one of my takeways as well. did we really need that much fan service? the whole idea in the original is that they don't know he's a synth anyway, kind of defeats the purpose to have duplicates.
I’m glad he can live out everyone’s dream of being married to Rachel Weisz and getting paid millions of dollars to ham it up as couth, gay, fussy, smart, southern man, literally the most fun character to play, and still see the system sucks.
First Reformed is so good. It's a great modernization of Taxi Driver. I really loved it. Same with Barry Lyndon. I didn't expect it to be as funny as it is. Goated lighting and costumes.
I didn’t post it but I immediately went and watched this this morning when I saw Barry Lyndon mentioned.
Woman of the Hour was pretty good. Solid directorial debut for Anna Kendrick. The guy playing Rodney Alcala did a really good job going from charming to making a scene extremely creepy and dark very quickly.
...you ever wondered what it'd sound like if a motherfucker took a drill, half-inch, and drilled right into the top of a motherfucker's head? (Oh man, you'd need some Black & Decker , man) (The cordless kind) I wonder what that shit would sound like [Sound effects] Probably sound like that
It one of the movies that made an entire generation bisexual, along with Pirates of the Caribbean and a few others.
Watched Oddity and Immaculate this weekend. Both entertaining. Would give Immaculate a 7/10 and Oddity a 7.5-8/10 Even in a movie about Sweeney being a nun they were able to slip in some bath scenes
Yeah it’s really bad. And there’s also a further distinction of movies that streamers acquire out of festivals vs ones they fund from the start. The ones they acquire obviously don’t generally have big stars though.
I'm beginning to consume B Movies like crazy. Not "USA Up All Night" level bad, but actual dogshit that will question your sanity. The Amazing Bulk - I really think this was supposed to be a porno. the clip art/ public domain music montage will melt your brain Miami Connection - A diverse collective of orphan roommates who have a ninja themed band called Dragon Force and go to UCF (no connection to Miami at any point) Alien Outlaws - Featuring Lash LaRue at his whip drunkest Dangerous Men - This took almost 10 years to make. You will think you're watching two different movies splices together. There is a butt-knife scene Radical Jack - Roadhouse but with Billy Ray Cyrus. You can tell they earnestly thought this would be a franchise Jack Frost - not the Michael Keaton film of the same name that came out a year later.
Super unpopular opinion, but I kind of hate Inarritu's work. I usually agree with critics in general, but with his work, not so much. Birdamn - Not for me Babel - Not for me Revennant - Was OK. Should have been better. 21 Grams - Not for me
