I thought it looked pretty good. Sebastian Stan juice is out of control, might have to check it out even though I'm a simple marvel hater
I will not be watching but happy the comic book boys got one that wasn’t complete slop. however, the slop will be back soon enough
I am also not a marvel fan. I like maybe 5 or 6 out of the 30+ movies. It's not even really a marvel movie except a couple of scenes. That a24 trailer they cut makes a lot more sense now.
I have not seen it yet either but I want to for similar reasons. Saw a blurb where they described Thunderbolts as an "A24 Marvel Movie" which sounds intriguing if true
not particularly impressed by Francis Lawrence as a director so I won't hold my breath. But hope it is good.
if your not familiar with the Bachman Books, it's a really good fucking story. The Running Man was adapted from the same collection of stories by King. I'm elated and sooooo hyped to see how they do this
Kinda don’t like what Ethan has done on his own. That trailer shows too much of the movie. Not sure qualley is good enough to carry a vehicle like that by herself.
I think my cost will go up a dollar per month, so nothing crazy. The increase to 4 reservations is really helpful to reserve premium screenings on opening weekends, especially over the summer.
Criterion's May Collection of "Coastal Thrillers" is pretty elite. A lot of stuff I've seen before, but a great subgenre.
Just watched The Big Sleep, some of these old noir movies had incredibly convoluted plots. Why was William Faulkner writing movies? At least it's stacked with hotties
I'll watch this, it seems like it might be fun but I'd watch a movie that featured Margaret Qualley painting a white wall so that's prob not saying much
it was based on a book so maybe didn’t do it justice. Raymond Chandler is a great novelist. Love the character of Marlowe.
Maybe it hasn’t aged well? Just felt a bit cheesy at times And I know the dude is supposed to be a bad actor, but it’s also watching bad acting regardless.
