Yes sir. I play Wilson fat shafts. I have just got so used to my clubs over the years that I feel comfortable with them and their distances. I also lost my 6 iron last year and haven't replaced it. Shots between 160-170 are tricky because I either have to blast my 7 iron or choke down on my 5, depending on the wind and elevation. I am curious to see how a new Driver and a set of Srixon irons would improve my game.
Ok, if they are going to tweet that they should provide context of where that is on the course. There is a big difference between that being 3 yards from the fairway and 200 yards off the tee where a duck hook would end up. When Kevin Na posted his hissy fit at Erin Hills it was in a place where pros would never hit their ball.
jbr Sharkstooth is private, you can get on camp creek if you are staying at an affiliated property. Or just have a club pro call for you. used to work at bay point, they only have their Nicklaus course now and it’s usually pretty slammed from what i hear nowadays. Kelly plantation is a great course. look up windswept dunes. One of the better courses in the area and would be double the price if it was located in destin or pcb. Shouldn’t be crowded at all and it’s usually in fantastic shape
Will second this. If you are staying at the beach it’s a bit of a drive, but it’s as good a course as any of the others listed. The price is right and the one time I played it the condition was immaculate.
Unfortunately I have decided to withdraw from next week’s US Open. If you need me I’ll be smashing my hot ass girlfriend.
That’s a shot he pulled off a few other times in previous tournaments. Basically a no spin punch to run the ball into the green. Just didn’t work with this lie.
Anyone here play Wolf? Do you go with wolf tees off first or last? What kind of scoring do you use? So many variations, so I’m curious what the consensus is.
Played it many times. Usually have wolf tee off first so the partner he ultimately chooses gets to instantly decide if he rejects him or not.
Order stays the same the whole round, wolf goes first and has to pick a partner immediately after their shot. I’ve never played with any of the junk dots included in Wolf Hammer like the NLU guys talk about, that seems tedious to track.
Playing Harbor Town on the 19th & Palmetto Dunes on the 20th so need the weather to cooperate. Never played Palmetto, but it looks like a good track.
Played this out at OCC the other day. I got absolutely destroyed. Hell of a lot of fun though. Tracking was kind of a bitch.
Conversation is very relevant to my interests.. We want to play a game next weekend and don't know what to do. I'm a 16 or so but wildly inconsistent. May shoot 85 then 100 the next round. One guy is like a legit 4. One guy probably 20. One dude plays like 5 times a year. Any suggestions?
Have the best player (regardless of the gap) start at -10, the next best player start at -8, the next -6 and so on. Just watch the magic happen
