    When I was young I dicked around a lot trying to hit flop shots. It was horrible for my game at the time but I did learn how to open up and loft a 56 and move it back and hit it low too.

    I have a 56 Cleveland that is probably 25 years old that I am likely going to replace soon.

    I have a 50 Vokey that I love. I will probably replace the 56 with the Vokey version.

    Everything else in the bag is ping. G 400 driver and 4-pw. Ping Anser milled blade putter

    The wind almost always picks up in the afternoons over there. The worry is that today it seems like “picking up” is only a couple MPHs.

    60 from everywhere worked well when I was playing 36+ and spending an hour or so practicing with it afterward daily. Had the high hit and die shot, the low screeeeeet, and the lower screeet then roll all down pat as my go tos. I now have none of those, can’t hit my spots, and rarely get up and down. Terrible with bump and runs too, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Agree except that he is the guy who made it cool to go to LIV.

    I’m not saying others wouldn’t have gone, but he was the leader of the guys who mattered.

    40 year old with Pings that never plays = 14

    If I got 10-15 rounds in a year I am confident I could shave a good chunk of of that down to at least 10-12
