Looks like they are bringing back Hiro, The Haitian, Parkman, Suresh, Micah and Bennett. Hopefully this show can bring back the magic from the first season. Adding Zachary Levi can't hurt.
Premiere is Septemeber 24, 2015 on NBC, and will be preceded by a digital series which will introduce the new characters and storylines.
So excited for this. Loved the original until the writers decided to turn it to crap. I still enjoyed the entire series but it could have been so much more. Hopefully this lives up to those expectations.
A prequel series called Heroes Reborn: Dark Matters totalling about an hour long has dropped online. You are supposed to have the Heroes Reborn app to watch, but it's on all the streaming sites. I liked it a lot, and it has given me even more hope this reboot is going to be a return to when Heroes was awesome.
I never actually finished the series. I gave up on season 4 I think. I guess I should try and power through and finish it.
the mom did. fwiw I think this show sucks, too much "keep the audience in suspense for the sake of keeping the audience in suspense" type shit. instead of an A plot and B plot episode that focuses on the main group and a secondary story, this show pulls you 6 different directions with bland characters in plots that have nothing to do with each other except a "you are all going to be connected to 'save the world' by doing...END CREDIT FIND OUT MORE NEXT TIME ON DRAGON BALL Z"
I understand your complaint and think one of the (many) reasons the original series fell to shit. But fsuNizz hasn't steered me wrong in television and movies yet
to be fair, we represent Joanne in the show so I have to force people to watch :) But normally, I will never steer people wrong on TV/Film. Not sure how people are going to really react to this show though, it's getting mixed reviews.
It has a lot of the aspects that made season 1 good. The only thing missing is a character with the charisma of Sylar
Touché to you. It all came together in tonight's episode. Definitely the best so far, IMO. Very excited to see where they go from here. I also agree with Tommy being a Petrelli. Especially with Momma Petrelli showing up next week. I don't think they'd bring her back without a link to the next generation.
I hated that episode, its like they're grasping at straws with the references to Spider Man and Star Wars without any of the meat and potatoes to go with the window dressing. So the girl references a vague comic book to Tommy about "power responsibility etc" without there being an Uncle Ben to establish an emotional background for both the character and the viewers. They're still treating this show like we're in 2005 and comic book show/movies are not at all mainstream. Then they take 2 of the more interesting characters (Miko and Ren) and pulls a reverse Han Solo "I love you/I know" quote then boom, Ren is fine with it after we find out for all of 30 secs that Miko is actually a dead girl and is suppose to kill herself to free Hiro. Don't even get me started on the whole Carlos ghetto batman/iron man suit thing, that entire plot is just all over the place. And now they're just going for the "reset the timeline" troupe with Hiro fixing everything by going back to a year ago.
Enjoyed that episode. I'm assuming Noah gets his memories wiped so he doesn't remember meeting himself at the hospital and to erase all knowledge of the twins being taken to the past.
This series has been as shitty as season 4 of the original so far but I really enjoyed last night's episode.
It's not season 1, but I've enjoyed this much more than any other season of the series. Putting most of the focus on Noah was the right play as he was always the best character besides Sylar. Also, no stupid Peter Patrelli or Matt Parkman (yet) to bring everything to a screeching halt with their terrible acting and boring characters.
Show has been meh since the opener but they kicked it up a notch with the newest episode. All kinds of cool shit going on
I enjoyed the first season of the original. Watched the first half of episode one last night and gave up. Just didn't seem like it was going anywhere. Too scattered. Did I quit too soon?
Meh episode, also Matt Parkman is almost as bad as the black chick as a character...almost. Also I have no idea why Zach Levi would take on a role this horrible when he was so good as Chuck Bartowski, just needed work?
I thought this was only a mini series? Next week is just the mid-season finale? EDIT: nvm, just looked it up and they're showing the final 3 episodes in January BTW, flashing forward 3157 years or whatever the number was just seemed so random.
This show is meh so far for me. Parkman was kind of bitch in the original, now he is supposed to be billy bad ass. Just don't buy it. Can we please kill the black chick already. She brings nothing to the show.
Holy shit. I don't know if anyone finished this out but the last 3 episodes was some of the worst TV I've ever seen.
An absolute convoluted mess. I don't know if I have ever seen more inexplicable deus ex machina over the course of one hour as that finale.
Totally forgot about the last 3. Flipped it on during the last 10 minutes last night and just kind of rolled my eyes
