Was I mean to you too? I don’t remember that, but if I was I apologize. I had no idea how much pain I had caused.
arrogant stupidity at that. stupid is one thing but someone so arrogant and proud of their ignorance is pretty painful
Should I be really sad now and hold on to this burn for months? I’m trying to fit in, so tell me what to do when rude strangers disagree with me.
It comes down to the theory that good things happen when your best players get more ab's. I'll take 5 Ronnie ab's over 4 every day of the week.
Fried, Soroka, Riley if you were AA and had the chance to sign them to an Acuna/Albies type contract for the next decade, what order are you trying to sign them in?
Phils have won four straight. We're playing good ball too. Tough that we haven't made up ground yet but I keep looking at that schedule of theirs and I mean it is a grinder for weeks. @Cubs for three more, @MIL x 3, Cardinals x 3, @LAD x 3, @SD x 3, Cincy x 3, Arizona x 3 then they finally come to Atlanta for the first time June 14th-16th for a weekend series. STP gonna be rockin for that one.
That’s cool, man. I’m going to accept your take without being a weirdo and dragging this out for months.
Still a small sample size but Austin Riley's average exit velocity of 94.6 mph would be top 7 in MLB right behind Christian Yelich and his hard hit % would be second only to Aaron Judge. His barrel percentages would be among the top 3 in the league.
I'm not necessarily dead set on him batting leadoff for his entire career, but as of right now, I think it's the move. For whatever reason, it jump started the team into W's and I'm fine with riding it. I think he's a great 2 hole hitter behind a leadoff guy who has speed and OBP. Good compromise of getting more ab's and likely getting a good number of those ab's with a runner on. Maybe Pache or Waters can rocket up and take that spot?
We're 25% of the way through the season and somehow have already played 15 more games against >.500 teams than Philly.
next 12 for them: @Cubs (3 more) @Brewers (3) Cardinals(3) No off day, go from Philly to @Dodgers (3) hopefully these 4 teams can take them down a notch or 2
Random observation - We've played just 13 games against East opponents (and are 7-6). The next least is the Nats at 21, the Mets are at 28!
We'll also agree to take the famous Bobby Bonilla contract. Just a drop in the bucket with Liberty's #gainz
I’m not sure what Prospect_Braves expects. The only area this team needs improvement is the bullpen and back of the rotation and there’s not a lot of sellers considering it’s still May. I’d imagine we go hard after Kimbrel after the draft and then look to pull a Doolittle/Madson type deal.
