There's just no excuse not to go all-in with the financial resources we do have. They have me worried with Bug Bear, but that was a good step for us. I'd 100% do that Jose Ramirez deal. I'd also attach a prospect to Ender to clear his salary if it meant helping us a) afford the Ramirez deal and/or b) sign another back-end reliever and bench player that could move the needle. I mean, shit, we're not even really mortgaging the future by doing those things.
If that was a legit option, AA would be an idiot not to. Ramirez is making what $6M/yr? And he'd be a Brave for the next 3? That's the perfect window of opportunity for this team. This is a no brainer imo.
