What the hell is going on with Waters and Pache at AAA...Gwinnett has played 8 games since 6/5...Waters has played in 4 of them and Pache in 5 of them but only 2 were starts. Meanwhile Phil Ervin, Terrance Gore, and Yolmer Sanchez are getting plenty of reps out there.
Yeah, I mean I understand not wanting to mortgage the future, but you also have to be willing to go all-in when you’re knocking on the door. Almost seem to be more content to stay above-average for a long-time rather than to go get a Championship by any means necessary. We’ve had some bad luck this year for sure, but we all saw Smyly and our bullpen sucking from a mile away. So we can keep telling ourselves we just haven’t found our stride…or it’s just one of them days. Or we can take a look at the roster and admit this is basically who we are.

Ynoa was great before the injury...no idea what he will be after and even if he's fully healthy he's going to level out some and he's never been a part of a playoff push. d'Arnaud and William is nice. The backup catcher position has been a black hole this year. To reasonably expect anything significant out of Soroka this year is pure pie in the sky. He may come back, but doubtful he'll be much of a factor. Yea, I'm negative. So what...fuck this team.
