I don't understand how people still shit talk the battery. It's insane how successful it's been.

 

I wasn’t happy when we moved, and still wish the team was in Atlanta, but the battery and the new stadium are incredible and have absolutely blown me away. The home field advantage is real, and there are some pretty awesome places to eat/drink over there.

 

I love the battery, I just hate having to drive/Uber there and that keeps me at home a lot. But the stadium is incredible and Summerhill is doing well and could be the next best neighborhood in Atlanta. Basically, the city will never experience another low and we’re going to win everything forever.

After reaching the NLCS last year and getting the playoff win monkey off our back, I think the expectation (even if unrealistic) was to make it back to the NLCS and try our luck again. As we all know, that expectation went to shit very early in the season. So, it’s truly remarkable that we somehow battled back and surpassed our own expectations.

 

And every single time we suffered a “crushing loss,” the boys responded by beating the brakes off the opponent the very next game.
