I understand your hope, and honestly I share in it despite my doubts it will happen just because of the rule changes. I just think players won’t change to a style of play which recently hasn’t been prioritized by teams financially with the hope that the teams will change course and value other aspects of the game. I’m not convinced stolen bases will return with vigor, and I won’t believe that teams do not still find it too risky to run until I see it. And it’s just tough to see these changes happening without a joint coordinated effort as to what is valued and how much it is valued. I too will gladly be wrong.
Outside his bat...how has he been with the glove? That's been probably the biggest focal point most offseason, no?

if (when) he has another shitty spring, i think ozuna is done. eventually we’ll just eat that remaining contract. much rather take a swing at a guy like thrilliard or white than that loser
And if my memory still swears fealty to my message board posting thumb, he had some bizarrely clutch hits against Our Atlanta Braves when he was with the Marlins.
I’m going to do everything in my power to get you and Capstone 88, who DM’d me this link an hour ago with the caption “song of the summer ‘23. can’t wait to get brazy and listen to my main man Morgan Wallen”, permabanned
Worth mentioning Elder wasn’t facing scrubs either; his first four batters were Altuve, Peña, Tucker, and Bregman. 0-4 with a K and two groundouts.
