they won't fire Elliott this year, but if they do, you know they're gonna fuck up and hire Poindexter
it pains me to say it but you're better off without him. need a riverboat gambler HC if you've got a riverboat gambler QB.
https://247sports.com/college/virginia/season/2025-football/transferportal/?institutionkey=24016 didn't remember Bryce Carter being top 3 in state. no one leaving has been much of a contributor yet. this roster is gonna be gross.
I actually think we are going to be good or the Lo Davis guy should be fired for hyping up the money available. Ha
so we are going to spend our money on a bunch of grad transfers? according to Tony we are limited by admissions and most kids in the portal aren't an option. gonna be a lot of kids from FCS and Ivy again.
the main issue is bringing in undergrads yet to complete a degree but who have a ton of credits - Arts and Sciences straight won't enroll someone with 90 credits (the main thinking, which TE said in one presser, is "they need 60 credits at UVA to graduate from here but will only be here for a year...so is it ethical to enroll someone who then can't graduate?"). other programs at UVA will, but those are all more specialized/pre-professional programs (engineering, commerce, etc...). this was less of an issue when transfers had to sit out a year, because you were ensuring those players would be at UVA for at least 2 years (so never brought in 4th year transfers to begin with). grad programs are way easier, there are many 1 year grad programs available. so, they really need to focus on guys leaving schools after 1 or 2 years - or potential grad students - they know all this, of course, but that's the story behind it all mainly. (also, it's not like Admissions is making up these rules, they just follow the decisions made by the academic side...so the blurbs really should all read "provost" or "dean of arts and sciences" won't let football take transfers)
Crystal ball for Elon DE Cazeem Moore https://247sports.com/playerinstitu...325269/currenttransferinstitutionpredictions/
hopefully Fields takes advantage of his grad time at ND. he won’t be helping his draft stock any in that offense, but the school is good.
I think he had some lingering health issues, then had to leave. Can’t remember the exact issue, if it even ever came out. Talent was never an issue though. The staff was extremely high on him
Sintim leaving Illinois for Colorado St? weird move. Jacquie did her class superlatives and everyone got a sticker. nice!
seems like a cute little class. i kinda like the dbs a little. they might make some cash in the portal after a few years.
