That's a good long term pickup and a serviceable body in emergency situation should it be needed this year. Frost signed one OL in 2022. Impressive really.
His toughest fight to date by a large margin, IMO. This fight should've been made years ago but Spence kept fucking around getting in car wrecks and arguing about the money split. I think they both realized that they're not getting younger and can't pass up on an 8 figure pay day. Bud is a slight favorite early but it should be a hell of a fight.
I’d guess early prices will be $400-500 to get in the gym. If you’re a psycho and willing to wait until last minute, you could probably get in for around $150. I got suite tickets for Kovalev/Ward for $250 each on StubHub but I was cutting it close.
Got up 3-0, left them loaded in the 3rd, now tied 3-3 in the fifth. RISP has never haunted the honkytossers, this is a novel development
Caught the last inning on the radio driving home from work. Forgot how much of an annoying dork Sharp is.
Don't really know. A year ago there would be no doubt about him leaving, but Rhule has essentially made up all the ground. Still, when it comes to big recruits near and far, the theme has emerged in '24 that our coaches can croot their asses off til they're blue in the face, but we've just sucked so much ass for so long, and can't seem to overcome it when it's commitment time. I'm very excited to see what our recruiting starts to look like after we, inshallah, make a bowl game. In the meantime, we're gonna lose a few more recruits like Carter Nelson, not for lack of trying. Tl;dr: 50/50
If frost was still here he’d already be in your class. We have a shot but I still wouldn’t put money on him husking.
Sounds like things are trending down for us with Gatlin Bair. That big recruiting weekend really has not panned out.
my number one rule of recruiting to Nebraska is that Mormons almost never work out here and rarely if ever should we waste our time with them.
I can't manage to care, much as I try. I just don't understand the drive to get a guy who won't show up until 2026 after being totally out of football for 2 years. Plus, even if he commits and signs, we gotta work to keep him on the hook that entire tim? Even Mitt says fuck that
Jumped 7ft as a sophomore and that's when schools like Georgia and Bama took notice. As Ron said, he had a bad ankle and was in a boot.
For instance, 7 feet placed him in the top 10 nationally…as a sophomore. A bad ankle and foot would absolutely fuck up high jump about as much as any kind of individual sport.
The dream of a great class ended the same time Raiola’s cock teasing did. Hopefully they end up close to 20th or so.
Unfortunately that’s what it’s going to take. Don’t blame anyone for not signing up for the disaster that has been Nebraska football the past 20 years. Our fans loyalty (aka having nothing better to do), the new facilities, all that stuff. Doesn’t matter until we stop taking weekly Ls. Hopefully Rhule can turn it around quick.
Maryland’s pitcher hasn’t made it past the 5th inning in his past 5 starts. He’s dealing right now of course.
We let him off the hook a few times. Just bad at bats when he started losing the zone and we bailed him out. Brice also appears to still be struggling with his back issues. 0-6 thus far in the tourney.
LOL at Schanaman not even coming close to catching that foul ball while slamming into the dugout railing, and then giving up a walk off on the very next pitch.
