That’s really been the only beef I have with this team. Lots of trying to shoot ourselves out of the drought vs. getting easy looks at the rim/getting to the line. The last month it hasn’t been as bad but when it was our defensive effort has bailed us out. Not having Wilcher plus some foul trouble didn’t help matters in terms of depth either.
Probably doesn’t matter since we lost today and it will be tough to get to a 7 seed. But with ISU winning today, if UNC loses maybe ISU would get a 1 seed and then we could play in Omaha. I believe I read Pollard is on the committee so probably would prevent NU being the 7 in Omaha if ISU is the 2.

Jerry Palm has us as a 9 in Omaha taking on 8 New Mexico. Iowa State would be the 1 seed. You’d think if these bracketologists had any sort of accuracy they’d start to align with eachother 4 hours ahead of the release lol
Huskers vs. Cyclones in Omaha to go to the Sweet 16 would be an all timer. This needs to happen! I really doubt ISU gets a 1 seed though.
Ticket would be impossible to get, but atmosphere would be an all timer for a 2nd round game. Just can’t imagine they throw us a bone like that. Although last year they had #9 Auburn in Birmingham who then faced #1 Houston. Alabama was also a 1 in Birmingham but a different region.
