Has been such a great day in a sea of rugged days. Fun watching a game. Too bad Frost is a chud. Beyond the baffoonery the corn showed on the field, Frost’s dumb boner nose showed he’s part of the pandemic problem so fuck him.
Meanwhile jfc that Covid stew on the field postgame in South Bend is going to sure besmirch that unforgettable moment.
I would have thought this to be unfathomable a few years ago but I'm definitely a Nuggets fan more than a Husk fan at this point.
Waking up thinking about that sweet sweet HB swing pass on 3rd and 8, down 8, with 12 seconds to play.
Culture's so toxic and they don't seem to give a shit about changing. They can lose all they want, doesn't bother me anymore. Our coach is a racist covid denier and our team sucks. Their coach wore his mask all game and NWern U isn't led by a bunch of trumptards. Glad they won.
Playing football in the backyard this morning. My 6 year old son says, “I want to be Luke McCaffrey. I don’t want to be Adrian Martinez anymore.” Even he gets it and he can barely wipe his own ass. Make the change.
Poor kid, at least when we were younger we could act like we were good. I was always Ahman or Diedrick... I also fumbled a lot
Nebraska opens +4 against Penn State. Starting to think I should just bet against NU then press the winnings against the the following week.
I thought losing the game yesterday would be the most depressing part of the day. It was actually later watching Notre Dame and Clemson's QBs look ten times better than ours. How does Notre Dame have four good tight ends that can block and catch? We also seem to have progressed to the next level of fuck-us. Our white walk-on WRs can no longer catch the ball when it hits them right in the hands.
where do tthe more metro counties rank in SD in terms of incidence per population? Finding that the metro counties in MN are like ~70th out of 87 counties despite vastly higher population density. Which points at the infuriating fact that mask use is a big fucking deal
I had a big spat with a girl I knew at the beginning of all this because she was posting anti mask shit on IG. When I called her out she attacked me viciously and said her grandpa was a doctor (in the rural south lol)) and he said they don’t work. Sorry but I doubt gramps is up to date on research. Also do we think Asian people have just been wearing them for fun for the last 15 years? Idk maybe we could simply observe what has been effective in highly dense population centers in other countries. But also they ain’t American so how can you trust em.
Top 10. We have no masks mandates except in Brookings and vermillion, the 2 biggest university towns. county had 275 infections for ~180K total pop today, and that was a down day. jerauld county currently with 6235 deaths/1 million population seems baaaaaaad.
I always thought hey maybe if those countries that run into pandemics every other year do something then we should do those things because they have like direct experience and know what to do. But then I think about MY RIGHTS!!
I have a right to kill innocent people by breathing on them. This is Amerikkka, our ancestors literally fought for this right.
yeah the mask mandate would help. But culture still tops out imo. That's why we're getting crushed mostly by rural counties at this point. Hospitals all full of covid patients not from our area codes and we're all
Might just be me but maybe we need to dumb down the playbook until we don’t have five false starts per game I dunno
I think the false starts are coming from trying to beat the other man off the LOS. It could be playbook too, I just don’t think it’s that complicated based off of the schemes I’ve seen from Chip while at Oregon. I also know nothing about our offense, and I’m not trying to understand it at this point. ** edit * Didn’t see Sherman’s tweet. That’s a coaching problem. If you realize you only have 3-4 guys who can play at this level, you spend every second outside of class/football with them making sure they know shit going into practice. You make money based off wins, you do everything in your power to get the best athletes on the field.
I think the false starts are coming because Scott Frost's teams have always had a lot of penalties because they're not disciplined.
This is telling. Lubick should pretty much have Zavier, Alante, Omar, Fleming, and Wandale living under his own roof. After film, it should be more film with them going over the game plan/every WR clip. If they can’t remember 40-80 plays that are installed off of each other then that’s a coaching problem. Simplify it even more, quit moving them around from Z to X to whatever we call our slot. Let them learn one, and just go fucking play. Them playing backyard football is better than seeing the shit we’re seeing right now.
