Issue is the top numbers IMO, it’s nothing new around this program. There’s like 10-15 plays that decide the game and they are always a disaster.
I’ve watched you guys quite a bit this year. I know your team and coaching is bad. But I’ve also watched our QB and coaching staff blow games late after leading 3+ quarters earlier in the year. I figured this one would come down to whichever offense was on the field last needing a score and blowing it. Glad Petras didn’t get that opportunity.
There’s dudes open downfield but the OL gives the QB about 2.7 seconds to pass on a consistent basis. Then if you put LM in, he overthrows them by 20 yards (see Illinois game).
Sure Allen was open on that 3rd down, but he was on the other side of the field and Adrian had to make a great play just to evade the first defender and then he had two more guys in his face right after. I’m not sure Aaron Rodgers would’ve made that play.
So far, all I’ve seen from this staff is an undisciplined mess of a team. And that doesn’t require talent to fix. That’s not on Riley or Bo or Eichorst or anyone else. as far as talent goes, I get it and it takes time. But I’ve seen nothing suggesting this staff is capable of coaching talent to the next level. They seem like they had a ton of fun at Oregon and UCF and wherever always having superior talent to most of the opponents they played. Big Ten should humble you in a hurry if you think you can overlook the basics.
Nebraska basketball ended last season on a 17 game losing streak, has lost 18 of their last 19 games...and I can honestly say I’ve seen more encouraging changes from that staff than Frost’s wedding party he brought to Lincoln.
The excuses this dude comes up with every week is insane. If this was a one half issue, sure but this dudes been snapping balls into the stands since his debut.

Frost needs to nut up, cut some bait, and actually yank some of the trash off the field BUT clapping to mess up our snap count is some of the blue-collar hijinks that Iowa would try and get away with
The Florida recruits bailing is just another example where Frost is going to have to adjust to how it is at Nebraska. Not saying we cant recruit Florida kids, but when they are miles and miles away and not playing, or we suck, or whatever....its a lot different.
