My deceased father's favorite musician was SRV with BB King & Clapton close seconds. I remember being 6 years old and being floored when found out that SRV was white bc I didn't know white guys could play like that. He actually had the blues

My dad's response was that "he's not white. He's SRV. He's one of a kind" and laughed.
