Dixon Machado was my last answer and when I entered it the number blinked a couple times reading .006 before it got rounded up to .01, never seen that before. What other olds in this thread can remember what was distinctive about UL Washington that probably earned him 4% in the answers percentage?
Gehringer, nice, he answers a lot of questions in relative obscurity getting low scores on this quiz. One of the all-time somehow underrated greats, mostly b/c he was never a Yankee and didn't hit that many home runs. Nickname was Mechanical Man for his excellent defense. Not a lot of home run power, but almost 600 career doubles and almost 150 triples. My grandmother loved talking about him and Hal Newhouser.
Another Berman nickname permanently etched in my brain, Phil 'The Final' Plantier. Thought he was going to be a long-term god for my Strat-O-Matic team.
