That lists every poll that named someone champion. It was last updated in 2012 lol The NCAA recognizes Miami for 1983. https://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/college-football-national-championship-history https://www.espn.com/college-footba...on-college-football-championship-winners-list
Dbl refuses to accept that both Auburn and the NCAA website have Auburn listed as the 1983 national champion. There is hard evidence, but here we are
The book is from 2020. The year is literally in the link. Do you think they randomly take away National Championships they listed from 40 years prior?
Link to ncaa website that shows it? Auburn has a page from 2018 that says national champions. In 2024, AU did not list it when listing all national championships won across all sports. That's where we are.
So b/c you're technology inept it doesn't count I can't use the internet so it doesn't count Here, since it is too hard for you
Here's their updated listing of all ncaa titles. Idc about some pdf from 2020. https://www.ncaa.com/history/football/fbs
it doesn't matter what you care about or not. That doesn't make it invalid that their own record books list Auburn and 2 other schools as a share in 1983 Fuck your feelings lol
That's a listing "national poll leaders", not who the NCAA recognizes. It also lists UCF's Colley poll from 2017. The ncaa recognizes Miami, hence why they are listed on their website today. https://www.ncaa.com/history/football/fbs
It lists that the NYT had you at the top of their poll. The ncaa doesn't recognize Auburn as the 1983 poll.
They don't. They have a pdf from 2020 that lists every poll ever created. The ncaa doesn't list Auburn on their championship history website. https://www.ncaa.com/history/football/fbs
An argument between Bama, barn and Texas A&M about claimed championships is like a coloring book with nothing but blank pages.
They do not. They have a pdf database of all polls. The NYT had you at the top of their poll. Why can't you grasp that? The section you pulled from is the "national poll leaders" and lists every poll ever created. Here's who the NCAA lists as champs on their website. I don't need to take a screenshot of a 2020 pdf. It's a live website. https://www.ncaa.com/history/football/fbs
The same book lists UCF 2017. Bc it doesn't list champions or co-champions. It's just lists who was #1 in a ton of polls. That's not then listing champions. That's them listing who the poll had #1. Once again, here's who the ncaa says was the champ. Some are split! 1983 was not split. https://www.ncaa.com/history/football/fbs
As a reminder, this is where we started. The ncaa hosts a 2020 pdf that shows the NYT had AU at #1. The ncaa doesn't not list AU as co-champion.
Okay? My argument is it listed Auburn's. I'm glad we've established they listed both Auburn and other schools. So.....
An Alabama fan mad about how National Titles are claimed? Yeah, you're Rivals TMB'ing it hards AF right now
The ncaa doesn't list UCF as a 2017 champ. They list Colley as having UCF at the top of their poll. Same with Auburn in 1983. It's pretty funny that you can't grasp this. It's a record of "national poll leaders", not a listing of champions. This is their listing of champions: https://www.ncaa.com/history/football/fbs
Cool. Congrats on that Football Research poll. Ncaa doesn't list you as a co-champ. https://www.ncaa.com/history/football/fbs
