That's good then. Place just gets super packed with douchey turds. Well done, sir! When are you and Haley coming to visit us in the burbs?!
Speaking of boat bars, Grand Banks is pretty dope, boat oyster bar off of Pier 25. It can get packed with basic bitch/bro interns
Bah, we're going to a concert at Starland Ballroom in NJ that night. Made plans with our jersey friends.
Oh btw Fancy I'm going to Alidoro for lunch today, what was the sandwich you recommended again? I had the Alidoro last time and it was great.
Any of you guys got any good new spots in BK that you've been? Looking for a date night spot this weekend. gf and I usually like Asian cuisine. Want to try an alternative to Pok Pok.
Kings County Imperial is a bit pricey for what it is, but very good and don't hear it mentioned that much.
Ended up being a Delta flight out of Terminal 2 instead. Too upset to even look for a GIF to express my sadness.
The apartment I was telling you guys about fell through because they were taking too long to make a decision (it was a co-op). I made this post public, but let me know if you guys can see it and tell me what you think. All the pertinent info is in the description: https://www.facebook.com/michaelsco...007082142364/1763566793889375/?type=2&theater
Fancy do you know if Grimm Ales has a tasting room? Going on a brewery crawl in BK on Sat and hitting up Other Half and some others.
Not yet, heard there's one in the works but not open. Also, I recommend hitting Other Half later in the day Sat. They're doing a can release in the morning so place will be packed.
Sadly, not yet. If you're going to OH, you should definitely hit Threes if it's not already on the list. Keg & Lantern in Greenpoint is pretty solid too.
It was a can release when I went a couple of weeks ago and it was 30ish minutes to get a beer. Basically needed to get one and get right back in line
Not surprising, they definitely need to expand. Or at least run the can line straight through the garage and leave the tasting room separate. Not sure why they continue to snake people through the tiny tasting room to get cans. Makes no sense.
When I was there the line was in the garage for cans, but the line for beers from the tasting room wrapped around the tasting room and out into the garage.
Bar Pitti is cool and has nice outside seating. Also Jake Gyllenhaal was recently there trying to hit on a patron while he waited for his takeout.
Oh hm. I haven't been there early for can releases in a while but the last time I was they ran the can line through the tasting room and into the garage. Made no sense.
They changed it up so that the line runs directly into the canning room from the street. They also bought the space directly next to their current spot and are in the process of renovating it. Not sure how much longer it will be till it opens. Also, I am in Milwaukee, if you want some beer text me
