I thought the documentary was decent. I was glad they didn't drag it out too long. Some thoughts: Maxwell should've been in prison over a decade ago. She's nearly as culpable as Epstein Immunity for all those named and unnamed in the case as a result of the plea deal is sick Epstein seemed to be the ring leader and operator of this sex trafficking ring, but I bet there are people just as involved as he is that ensure the operation continues Prince Andrew was a disgusting, frequent consumer of Epstein's offerings Clinton is a lying POS (we knew that) Extremely courageous of those sisters to go to the FBI in 1996 and of course nothing came of it With his devotion to secrecy and cameras, Epstein must have a storage room full of pics/vids of very important people assaulting these underage girls
One of the popular Epstein conspiracy theories is he was secretly an intelligence agent for a foreign government. This isn't really mentioned, so I was wondering if you were able to debunk that during your reporting? [Epstein's former business associate] Steven Hoffenberg alludes to that a little bit — that Epstein had told him personally that he had given some information to the government. We tried to approach it from a documentary, journalistic standpoint, and we touched a little bit on some of the conspiracies. Of course, after his death, it only fueled them even more. But conspiracy theories are just what they are, conspiracy theories. So without hard facts, we tended to stay away from them and keep in mind this was for a global audience for Netflix, and many people around the world probably have never heard of him. https://ew.com/tv/netflix-jeffrey-epstein-filthy-rich-director-interview/
Normally I wouldn't but there doesn't seem to be a reasonable explanation that makes more sense than that theory.
I just can’t fathom how in today’s day and age there can be so much secrecy about a person who seemed to live his life surrounded by celebrities, presidents, princes etc Unless any inquiries get turned around by those that have the power to do that
Reasonable explanation for what? His ability to steer clear of prison while continually assaulting teenage girls? The wealth part is still wild to me. My guess is he stole a lot more from Wexner than he admits. How much did he make from that pyramid scheme he was involved in? Also, his partner in crime being so flippant about the millions he stole during his interview pissed me off.
His literal defense on Twitter was "I may have gone to the pedo island but I brought my wife and daughter with me"
Anyone have the link to court documents from the allegation of Trump and Epstein with the girls? edit:
I can remember the paparazzi found her at an Inn and Out in California eating a burger looking like it was just a regular day
Theories on why it took so long to charge her? Epstein was charged and they basically had the same evidence on both it seemed like
Would think that offer disappeared the second she declined and she would have been arrested shortly after him
This is probably way off but maybe they tracked her from afar and let her roam around to make people think they weren’t going to come after her. Catch her by surprise.
This changes everything. I don't want to find out anymore! I'll gladly sacrifice Bill to get to the bottom of all this shit.
I think that's where Republicans get short circuited in these situations: We should burn all these motherfuckers who took part in Epstein's crimes Yea well what about Bill Clinton!? If he raped teenage girls he should fry like the rest
Pretty sure Trump was the one that actually had to pull the trigger. Barr tried the day before but he refused to step down.
