What part of taki did they call off there? Looked on to me. Also I'm watching in the office with it muted
This official got alot of stuff wrong that game. Felt it should have been a 2-2 tie, their second goal being offside had me clueless and how do you call Mane for a handball when its bang bang of his head to hand, Minamino was onside
Revenge tour against Atletico would be cool, maybe avoid Barca in case Messi tries to go for five goals against us Everybody else seems pretty favorable
Their theatrics against Mane and his arms, diving all over the place in the first away leg.........no thanks
This dumb video I'm watching suggested David Alba as a "cheap" CB option in January. He wants €300,000 a week from Bayern. We could get like 8 Ragnar Klavans for that.
He can do it all. Though, I swear I remember a USMNT friendly against Austria played in a hilarious fog like 8-9 years ago where David Alaba was playing on the wing.
I think he plays as a 10 for Austria. Certainly in the midfield when I saw them in the WC or Euros years ago.
I don't watch as much of the Austrian national team as I should apparently. I know Ashley Barnes is an Austrian player. The split nationals thing for international soccer is interesting for me. Cause Joel Matip is considered Cameroonian in soccer, but he was born in Germany and he sure sounds like a German. Obviously, Matip declared for Cameroon thinking his it was best path to an international career. Course he retired because he didn't like their FA. But he'd clearly get into the Germany team if they could call him up.
The most interesting one to me is the Boateng brothers. They’ve played against each other in the World Cup (I think twice) with Jerome for Germany and Kevin Prince for Ghana.
For some reason that as long alluded me, my good friend has been a big Mannschaft fan since we met at 14. My friend is like half of American white people, with more or less of 25% German heritage. But we'd refer to the Boateng brothers as the good Boateng (Jerome) and the evil Boateng (Kevin-Prince). Which honestly fit their respective personalities. I did like listening to the English pundits on podcasts mention about a year that Gio Reyna was eligible for England cause he was born when his pops was playing for City.
Wouldn't hate it if he had to miss our match Wednesday but seriously I hope it turns out to be nothing major. Hard not to root for Jota, he's a good egg.
This English injury speculation is so annoying. Glad American sports aren’t like this. Just tell us the damn injury.
