I think Chelsea is more concerned about the premier leagues profitability & sustainability rules when it comes to the Caicedo deal than UEFA’s FFP. Same sort of thing. They might just yeet past them and see what happens. But that is why they haven’t submitted a bid yet, even though they are saying it is done.
So how does this end? I could get behind some combo of Inacio, Lavia, Florentino, Andre, etc. But how do we get to that point if we cant let go of the Caicedo deal. If there weren't major problems on Chelsea's end, they would have bid by now. How long can this continue, Chelsea constantly saying a bid is imminent. One of the strangest situations i can remember.

I assume John Henry has gone to England to yell at someone about the EPL’s profitability and sustainability rules in regard to Chelsea and the Caicedo deal. Whatever the structure of our offer, it has clearly tied up Chelsea with compliance issues. I assume Chelsea will figure something out, but I don’t see how they also buy Lavia and Olise. No point in rushing anything now with incomings. Only player I’d be upset at us not getting at this point is Andre. Just cause of the price point and potential.
