Thanks for the ass spanking hitmyjumper. As you can see I'm still trying to learn the game since I havn't played Madden in prolly 5-6 years. I do have one question how the hell do you get your defense to come out exactly the way you want with the LB's up on the line and your cb's already in press coverage. That's part of my problem I spend more time trying to get my defense set rather than trying to read the offense and locating players. Can I change the way I select hot routes and re-align my defense.

What were the details on that Broncos/Pats trade? All I saw was that Clady got moved... hope you got a decent return Bruns. Also, I locked Greg Jennings up to a 5 year/$36 mil deal. Just traded Cedric Benson for Brandon Albert as well. Should help sure up my line.
Well it helps that I have been playing for the last few years so I can get through my presnap reads/calls before your line even sets. It just takes time to learn all that stuff, but I know how to move things around without looking at what does what anymore. As for the LB's on the line, there is a package of plays in Nickel Called "Sugar" that pre sets the LB's there, they have an assortment of plays named that where they both blitz, one blitzes, or they both drop back in zone, it can be very confusing for the O with the different plays all looking the same presnap. I also know which player I want to be based on my play call and the way you lined up which helps too.
I'm this way with NCAA, but it's taking some getting used to in Madden. Going to be awhile before I have it all down.
Same here Buster, I had my pre-snap adjustments down even before the offense was set, It just frustrates me cause I hate having to spend time looking on how to hot route to a slant or shift my blockers, then on defense I'm just trying to figure out how the hell to sift my Lb's then next thing you now the ball is snapped and we are going. I will be lucky to maybe win 3-4 user games during this whole dynasty.
how are you guys liking the format of the connected careers? some buddies and I are trying to decide between Madden/NCAA, but none of us own Madden yet.
Used to be an NCAA guy, but this years madden is awesome. I'm loving the connected careers, simply for the fact that there is so much more to do than on NCAA.
I buy NCAA every year. This is the first year in 5 years I've bought Madden. Next year I'm buying Madden for sure but probably wont pickup NCAA for the first time since I can remember. I love the recruiting/offseason in NCAA, but the gameplay is lightyears behind. Hopefully Madden continues to build on the foundation they laid this year.

It's just so different from NCAA but you can do more. Last night all game I thought I was highlighting a reciever instead I was sending my guy on a flat zone coverage.

FYI my schedule for the following week is: 11pm-7am Thursday-Saturday/ 9pm-5am Sunday and 11pm-7am on Wednesday///Monday and Tuesday off. and the times are CST
