As far as setting up the next Avengers... Spoiler They really didn't do a whole lot. Maybe a bit in the post credits before he went in where they mentioned something about time travel dimension or something, but I kind of expected a little more.
Two. First one is important. Second one is comedic and is not important and not really worth sticking around for if you wanted to get out earlier.
No, Paul Rudd growing just his penis to a giant 30 foot erection gave me the most appropriate boner ever.
Alright my thoughts. Spoiler -I enjoyed it, definitely thought it was funnier than the first one - I liked the character ghost. She was a sympathetic villain and you empathize with her. Glad they they kept her alive so that she can an anti-hero role in future marvel films. -how the hell did Janet feed herself for 30 years in the quantum realm? I know they said it changes you but Hank was going insane in less than 15 minutes inside the realm, why not her? -I noticed that Scott’s daughter kept talking about wanting to be his partner. Foreshadowing her character’s role in Avengers 4 (an older version of her appears) -Janet mentioning “time vortexs” in the 1st after-credit scene. Another possible foreshadowing? If that’s the case, please find a way to bring back killmonger!
Thought it was fantastic. I love all of the movies and am not a rankings guy but I enjoyed the shit out of it. Saw it with some casuals a couple of which had not even seen the first one. They loved it as well. Spoiler How powerful is Janet? She seems to have some interesting powers when she comes back. Although maybe she just had a bunch of energy and she expended it all.
Just got back from the theater and enjoyed the hell out of it. The first post credit scene got a great reaction from the crowd and made it that much better.
Spoiler I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wasp and Ghosts fight choreography was great, I really like how they used their respective powers. I kind of expected them to dust Ant Man and have Wasp in IW2, since they have a lack of female characters, but I guess not.
Spoiler The most underrated part of Pena’s narrations in both movies are how great the actors have been for the lip reading re-enactments. We seriously need him summing up the MCU
