Anyone else watching this? Looks like it is only 6 episodes. I have watched the first 4 and it is pretty entertaining so far.
FX, paid $15 to rewatch a 6 episode/25 minute per episode season because I was bored and don't regret it.
Finding out Dewey Crowe is actually an Aussie blew my mind. Him playing the part in Justified just got much better.
Love this show. The main actor has a little Jack Nicholson to him with his smile and facial expressions. I loved the one scene where someone was negotiating with him and he doesn't even say anything but just cocks his eyebrows and smiles at them. You should read up on the actor. He has such a familiar face, but he's never been in anything else other than this show and the student film that he wrote/directed/acted in that launched this character. That was like 15 years ago, though, and he got put through the development ringer to the point that he gave up on the business and was a taxi driver. He had a movie lined up opposite Natalie Portman at one point, but everything he tried to line up eventually fell through. Amazing to think of the talent that the world never sees due to random circumstances.
S3 not as good as S2 IMO but still very good - it’s a little bit all over the place but trying to show how being a hitman is/has impacting his life. Was hoping for just a bit more closure, but still thought it was well done. Really like him as an actor and hope he gets some other jobs. also if anyone wants to catch up, the show is on Hulu
Late to th e game but just finished season 1. Had zero expectations coming in, so that was awesome. Took a little bit to acclimate tot he pacing and dialog style, but I was fully bought in after episode 3. It reminds me of Lock, Stock, and Two smoking Barrels or even Reservoir Dogs. Anyone who likes this will also definitely love Wayne.
