I have a store pick wilderness trail and while I very much enjoy it, smooth isn’t the word I’d use to describe it.
Alabama put birthday bourbon on the Saturday release next week for certain stores. Can’t imagine what the lines will be. Not sure why they didn’t just do it at the December full lotto
Just drank my EHTBP and GTS ‘19 back to back for the first time and realizing they’re pretty much the same. GTS has just a little more stank on it
AggieVillain if you want OWA or WFP the twin liquors here have it right now in the back. You just have to ask for it and they may make you buy some wine too.
I really like their bottled in bond and most of their offerings. This one is 120 proof and comes through really hot
This is good to know. Almost out of my last bottle of WFP so if I make it there I'll definitely ask!!
Can anyone PM me if they can help me find a secondary market to buy a bottle? Need to get something good as a wedding present.
Sure, limited edition one time EHT releases go for premium on secondary. Sour mash is $20k. They are for collectors.
No one’s getting a barrel of those. The EHT line has essentially been used by Buffalo trace as their experimental line. It’s why you get a whiskey with amaranth as its primary grain, and unique things done with the staves like cured oak, seasoned wood, etc.
Most restaurants are likely to have a bottle allocated depending on relationships with distributors, same with liquor stores. Those bottles can be allocated in a number of ways by stores from lotteries, to long lines on well advertised releases to the bland rarity of a bottle just sitting on a shelf.
How often do yall ever roll up into a random liquor store and find something that is relatively rare in the wild/hot on secondary market? Has never happened to me.
