This was sent to me via PM on next door. "[my name] go tell your mother how you feel, she will care. Or perhaps she's the root of your sexist issues with a woman speaking intelligently about things on which she knows more than you? Either way, please do fuck off. Smooches Princess." I couldn't stop laughing that a 50 year old woman sent me this. She also threatens to shoot black people on sight in her neighborhood, though she claims to do business with "gangsters from all over the country."
Someone just posted a picture of a bunch of cop cars, a firetruck and an ambulance in front of someone's house on my neighborhood's FB with the caption"Crazy A $$ Neighbors!!!!". Turns out it was a suicide. He's now speculating that the husband probably actually murdered the woman. I hate people.
i'd love to see the look on the cop's face when he was dispatched to deal with a yard that was barely below the weed whacking code
I'd probably be the crazy person complaining if I were on there. Cars parked in the street drive me insane. It's like driving a fucking obstacle course to get to my house sometimes
i wanted to see if my neighbors were talking shit but i dont want to register. when the house across the street from me was up for sale a couple of years ago, one of the old people who lives next door informed me that she hoped mexicans didn't move in. these people also tried to have my friend's car towed because he parked it there overnight one time.
I check next door every morning and evening. Mexican leather repair man There used to be a leather repair/boot man near AMC 30 and he was AMAZING. Actually, I believe he wasn't Mexican but that's what you'd think if you just saw him. Anyway, I miss him very much. I have a few equestrian repairs I need done....human boots falling apart, half chaps in need of repair, patch a tall boot, etc. Anyone know where he went? The guy at 119th and college isn't as familiar with equestrian needs and he scares me a little :) Thank you for recommendations.
Let us all hope that we never find ourselves in a situation where we'd seek out a Mexican leather repair man to mend a pair of half chaps
Bad experience at Domino's Pizza! Ajay Vohra from River Rock Ranch · 18 Aug Domino's Pizza, Fair Oaks Ranch & I10, Manager - Alexis Libhart. I placed an order for 2 pizzas and a specialty bake chicken at 5:30 pm on 8/16 for delivery and received confirmation to be delivered within 20-30 minutes... 1. At 6:30, still no pizza, I called the store and was on hold for 40 minutes before I hung up. 2. At 7:15 I decide to go to the store with my son. 3. 7:25 - The employee at the register could not locate my order. 2 other employees continued to assemble boxes and put labels on for new orders, and completely ignored the ringing phone. 4. Alexis comes over... a. "We don't have your order". I showed my email confirmation. b. "We don't have it". I had already paid for it. c. "Oh, I found it, pizzas are still here". She could not find them. d. "The driver has already left with them". So I called home, still not delivered. I wait 10 minutes and call again - still nothing. e. Alexis offered to make new pizzas et al. f. Her husband Steven (non-employee of Domino's) walks over from the gas station side, tells me to to leave the store or he would call the police. So I tell him to back off since both of us are being recorded on camera, and the police can easily see the footage. He backs off to the other side of the store and keeps staring at us. g. Alexis starts making the pizzas, she is not wearing any polythene gloves used in food processing. She put the cheese and meat, and then shockingly reached into the waste and scrap (dump) pit under the table, grabbed pepperoni and sausage pieces and put them on my pizza. (this pit/dump is a collection bin for all the scrap and waste that gets cleaned off the prep table to be discarded. h. When I questioned her she completely denied it and handed me the boxes and walked into the back of the store. I hope there is a CCTV camera in the prep & cooking area to see this scenario unfold. i. Needless to say, I walked out and left the full boxes on the trash bin outside the store. Domino's will never get my business again. This is a prime example of a store that is run so very badly, defying all norms of food safety and operating procedures. If a manager can do this, what about the other employees? Rest I leave to everybody's imagination. I have called Domino's corporate and filed a complaint. Their Customer Care folks have called me to get all facts. Waiting to hear further. I am so fucking glad to see it's not just my neighborhood. The people in my neighborhood are miserable fucks who are the absolute prototypes for the #firstworldproblems meme. It doesn't help that our former HOA president was a fucking lunatic scam artist with a loyal following of about 10 homeowners who take any and every opportunity to mention how much better things used to be when he was still president.
I'd like to find Jack Lyner's nextdoor neighboorhood and see what kind of crazy shit he's posting there
Here's a recent one: Sunglasses taken from gym ****** ****** from ******* at ***** 6d ago While in the gym on Tuesday morning from 8:40 to 10:20 A.M. someone accidentally, I'm sure, lifted my sunglasses off the key rack, where they were carefully and securely hung to avoid falling or damage, while I used the gym. I could not imagine that one of my like-minded exercise appreciating neighbors would steal them. The office staff will be reviewing the surveillance tapes from the cameras in the gym to determine who this may be. Please feel compelled to return them to the office to correct this mis-take before they waste their time with the tapes. Shared with General
I see a lot of people walking their dogs on retractable leashes. I don't agree with them, however, the city permits leashes up to !0 feet. So many people are disrespectful to their neighbors by allowing their dog to wonder around on peoples property, pee all over their bushes and flowers. When I see this, my thought is who is walking who? Your dog doesn't need to mark all over the neighborhood, so if your dog ends up in a fight, maybe it's because you didn't control your pet on a walk.
Reminder: HOAs are defacto microgovernments with no oversight and it is the duty of all freedom loving Americans to work toward their destruction at every turn
My neighborhood is mostly old people bitching and telling each other to call the cops for the dumbest shit. I typically read it to make sure they're not trying to call the cops on me. Best post was from when I first signed up though. There was a family that may or may not have been squatting in a house in the next neighborhood over. It started when someone saw a dog chained to a tree. By the end of it people had stolen the dogs, snuck in the house to see and document the living conditions, reported the family to the department of children and families, called the cops multiple times and got them evicted.
eh. Mine costs me $24 annually and all they do is provide mowing for the two parks in the neighborhood/upkeep for the parks. Seems like a pretty fair exchange.
Agreed. Mine is $13/month and they literally stand guard at each entrance into the neighborhood and keep black people out
The person who posted this would get all my dog's shit thrown in her yard in the early morning hours when everyone is asleep
http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2016/05/urgent_walking_while_black_cau.html My neighborhood made the news for being racist.
I think it was a drug deal gone bad, but there was a home invasion/robbery where a dude got really fucked up right around the corner from there on Friday night.
someone says that they aren't a fan of people who allow their dogs to piss on everything in sight. your gut reaction is to throw your dog's excrement in that person's yard.
Living in an apartment complex and being lazy, I have no interest in picking up my dogs shit so naturally i trained him to go about 15 feet into the woods surrounding the complex and shit there. Management didnt care because it wasnt out on their grass. So naturally it was bought by some new assholes that claim i have to pick it up even when he shits there, which I'm absolutely not doing. So now i take him out at night and during lunch hours. We're always awake at night so there is no inconvenience. Fucking petty cunt bitch trying to make me do shit.
It happened so long ago that the thread is gone now. But we had one resident -- one of the frequent posters on that site -- once warn that she was going to put poison on her lawn so that if anyone let their dogs take a dump in her yard the dog would die. Six months later she bought a dog on her own. Now, whenever the weekly post appears regarding someone spotting a dog running loose she immediately responds by scolding the dog owner about responsible pet ownership and how irresponsible it is to neglect a "fur baby."
Mine posts a mix of the subtly racist posts of slow driving black people in volvos to stuff like this to somebody's nanny cam capturing this guy breaking in:
there was another great one the other day with a lady complaining that people needed to keep their pack of dogs on a leash (it was a pack of coyotes roaming the neighborhood early in the morning) and in that same thread another lady mentioned she saw them and tried to get them in her car so she could take them to a vet to see if they wre chipped
