I was referring to a FG being blocked off that play design. They didn't get close on the 2nd one bc they waited and he lost all momentum.
Wouldn’t it be more the decision to employ him as your kicker? What are you doing if you can’t kick a 52 yard FG with your NFL kicker?
"first time they've been 0-2 since 2001 and you know what happened that year....." helluva pause by Tirico there
I hate the Patriots and was rooting for the Dolphins hard, but really wanted to see what would happen.
You're assuming a lot that it affected the 2nd kick. They didn't get close. Sanders was 4/12 the last two seasons from 50+.
the thing that kills me about deciding plays when the spot winds up inches short is the amount of times per game the lineman just walks like a drunk down the line spotting the ball somewhere in the area the guy went down but not really that worried about it.
I agree but his contract was fully guaranteed prior to mcdaniels arrival so he’s kinda saddled with him
You don’t clearly see the ball. Could be under his left elbow which is tickling the 29. Need clear and obvious video evidence to overturn. They aren’t supposed to assume.
