I've probably said this in this thread before, but if you love Norm, and you've never read his autobiography, you really need to fix that. It's a work of art.
The Netflix special is up. I thought it was a little awkward as you might expect for a comedian reciting the whole thing alone in a room. It was actually an amazing set he was developing during 2019-2020 timeframe and you can hear a lot of bootleg recordings of it at various clubs posted on YouTube. There used to be a video recording of an entire set I watched but now I can only find audio recordings. Here’s a small clip from one:
Yeah it was a bit off because he plays so well off of the audience but still was nice to see his material that he was working on even when things were getting pretty bleak. The after bit with the panel was pretty good.
The TV show The Orville started back up on Hulu last night and Norm does the voice of one of the characters.
I never interacted with this guy here or listened to his stand up, was surprised to here Michael Che drop his name the other day as one of the top comics out there.
