FWIW, we are #18 in ESPN and #14 in CBS Sports' "Way Too Early NCAA Basketball '17-'18 Top 25" rankings
Kelly's comments about Kizer sounded a lot better on the radio with context than in the newspaper article only taking snippets. Still not smart to say though.
Given the departures, I'd say that may be a bit high, but knowing who is or could be back, it's achievable. How's that for fence sitting?
I thought they were going to fall apart the last two years and they performed quite well so I will continue to predict them to suck. ND's basketball team next year will be bad.
Apparently Todd McShay came out in agreement with Kelly's comments. Says he understands where coach is coming from and thinks Kizer is "immature". Didn't think I'd see that coming.
Everyone is in agreement with what he said. It just serves no purpose to say it, except if you want to help other teams negatively recruit against you.
Sports Illustrated actually has us #12 in the same type of column. Honestly think ~15 or so is about right. Bonzie may be the best player in the ACC next year and Farrell/Gibbs/Pfleuger will be a great backcourt. There's holes, but Brey finds a way to fill them. Speaking of which, SI's article says "Mike Brey expects incoming guard D.J. Harvey, a DeMatha grad, to play heavy minutes." Has he ever publicly said that before?
And now Twitter is going crazy about our players saying they expect to puke with our new Strength and Conditioning program...
by the way, LJ Moore (a fresno kid that ND felt pretty good about landing for a long time before he (like all fresno kids) dissapointed us) apparently got arrested for being a pimp to a OU cheerleader who was a prozzer
No content from me, I've been chilling on an island since the 28th. Just reading about our greatness, and dropping bags of cash at IMG.
ESPN of some sort. I'm guessing 2, but I don't know for sure Edit: yeah, ESPN2 http://www.onefootdown.com/2017/4/6...-vs-denver-in-the-frozen-four-ncaa-tournament
How the hell are you supposed to play in the NFL if you're a 22-23 y/o 5th year senior at home sick? I can see maybe an 18 year old freshman, but damn, you're a man by then.
well thats good news to be honest. rover was a bit of a traffic jam and you have to think that there were guys like morgan ahead of him with similar eligibility
i agree with Wick...this is the best possible scenario for ND in this situation. Kid was falling way down the depth chart and instead of wasting a scholly for the next 3 years, a new one has opened up for the 2018 class
