Prister said Sean Sweeney already has an NIL plan tailored specifically to ND This has to be done behind the scenes already
*from 247 coaches off the record "Offensive lineman Christopher Terek “He’s very, very interesting. His body will need to be developed, but there is a chance that he’s a three-year starter. Time will tell, but there is so much to like about him. Richie Incognito type. He is a mauler. He’s a bad dude. The nasty streak he plays with, man, it’s hard to top. He will punch you in the mouth.”
He's done but this is not nearly as bad in context as it seemed in print Wish he could have gone out on top but I'll still love this guy like the older generation loves Digger.
Looks like T’eo and Tommy’s nephew will be co-captains one day. Spoiler kids already got the ND fan face of watching Tommy Rees call plays.
That Anthony Speca kid committed to Penn State I would have bet nearly anything he'd be "the next frustrating unathletic LB" at ND in 2021. Shows how far we've come in recruiting that he isn't a "big miss"
Probably more like they have decided to oversign a fuck ton everywhere and let it shake out. If you can’t take undergrad transfers it’s the only way
Probably wishful thinking but I really think the “you are not great at football so here is amazed if scholarship or transfer” solution is really palatable for the nd brass
If you're going to miss on huge dominant DL you needs waves of guys instead, keep legs fresh and smaller guys can be effective/disruptive. I assume they realize they will never have 4 across like GA and Bama so they need 8-10 good player and 1 or 2 studs.
They can have 4 across like Bama and UGA its entirely possible but it involves over signing to the max, probably looking at taking 16-18 DL over 3 years and they need to be good recruits. I believe there are enough DL in the Midwest, Plains, and NorthEast to pull it off but it requires one hell of a long term strategy. Penn State, Michigan, and OSU have all pulled off top 5 DL's multiple times in the last 20 years, ND maybe once in 2019?
I agree the sum of the parts can be great, my poorly worded point was that we won’t be doing it with 6’5” 330 5* monsters.
agreed, he was definitely a loss but sometimes you can only do so much it will be interesting to see what happens in May w/ the portal
