Just an incredible guy. Captain at Yale. Comes to ND and is named captain during Fall practice. Didn’t have his best game today until the end, but he’s been a difference maker all year

The first game against Duke was a weird one. Won by 5. Pat K had 8 points. Lost 2/3rds of the face offs. Hopefully their goalie continues to be a sieve.

What's nice about MF is that he is promoting himself, he is the face and he knows it, but, he's embracing ND in doing so and that makes all the difference.

Loy put in a CB for the kid from Seton Hall who's visiting. Decent size with three years of eligibility. We're starting to see a potential roster for 23-24.
I can’t believe they actually did it. This has been a slow climb, particularly since 2010. Every time they got here, something would go wrong. You could tell in Feb that this team had something special but to go through Hopkins, Virginia, and Duke to win the whole thing. Incredible

And due to the COVID season, so much of the team is back next year. Lose some key key pieces and Duke, Virginia, Syracuse, and Carolina will reload but next year could be fun as well

ND consistently brings in guys from the Ivy League (who don’t get an extra year per wonderful league rules) and it’s always bc they want to get a masters in business (which isn’t necessarily a strength of ours. Dukes better, for example). Game winning goal scorer on Saturday and all American defensemen who shut down the best player in the sport the two times they played were both key contributions as National champions as freshmen for Yale. the goal post grad being to get the best finance job possible is key to ND. For a program that just won its first championship, they had 3 key contributors this year. 2 won their second and one won his 3rd. All in the business school
