this game is over. Can we wear gold Michigan wing helmets so Ohio state play like cucks against us? I'll make that sacrifice for a w
Payne - 3rd down back (lost for season in the spring with torn ACL) Kia - backup LB (lost for season in preseason with torn ACL) Jagusah - startling LT (lost for regular season in fall camp with pectoral injury) Burnham - rotaional DE (lost for multiple games with sprained ankle against NIU) Botelho - starting Vyper (lost for season with knee injury and potentially longer against Purdue) Craig - starting center (lost for season with torn ACL against Purdue) Schrauth - starting LG (lost for chunk of season against Purdue with high ankle sprain and is still playing hurt) Onye - rotational DT (lost for season and foreseeable future for unknown reasons after Miami of Ohio) Mickey - 4th corner (left for transfer portal after Miami of Ohio) Traore - pass rush specialist and rising all around star (lost for season against Louisville with torn ACL) Jeter - Kicker (injured against Louisville and lost for most of the regular season - has been excellent in the postseason) Morrison - All-American corner (lost for season against Stanford with hip injury) Cross - DT and heart and soul of the defense (lost for rest of the regular season against UVA with high ankle sprain and is still extremely compromised) KVA - heavy rotational LB (lost for regular season against Army with knee injury - back in a limited role in postseason) Love - best RB in college football (injured knee against USC and is playing compromised) Mills - best DL (lost for rest of season with knee/leg injury against Indiana) Flanagan - backup TE (lost for season and next season with Achilles injury) Knapp - starting LT who moved to LT after the Jagusah injury (injured in first half of semi-final with ankle injury and is probably out for the rest of the season) Spindler - starting RG (injured in first half of semi-final - ankle?- and may not be available for NC)
Call me crazy, but Oregon and Texas are essentially the exact opposite teams of ND and PSU and Michigan are the most similar I'm not saying we are going to win, but I think we're going to muck up the game a bit and give them something they're not seeing tonight (e.g. lame cover 2 and Ewers holding the ball like a statue)
We don’t have 3 CBs to cover their WRs, so won’t be fun. It’s also not been fun for anyone since Day and Chip Kelly decided to run over and over again into the middle of UMs defensive strength
These teams are playing a soft zone because they’re so scared of Ohio State’s WRs. I mean I get why, but is obviously losing by a thousand cuts more honorable than going down swinging? The only defenses that ever give Ohio State trouble are the ones willing to play man coverage and live and die by the sword. This is scared football
yea, man and blitz blitz blitz is the high variance play that you need to risk to give yourself a chance
thankfully Golden and Freeman actually have the confidence to try, too. Kelly would turtle and optimize for a 13 point loss
I think that nd with a full roster….forget that, Even with just Mills, cross, and Boubacar healthy they would win It all bmo would make it comfortable
Perhaps. We said the same during the 2012 SEC Champ game though. Gonna need to play incredible football
he’s freakish - dude was instantly the best OL on the field last night when he checked in I still have no idea how he wasn’t a top 5 recruit
I can understand why he didn't start when he came back under the circumstances with things rolling and you can't bench the others, but with the injury excuse to play him now, it could turn out to be a net positive.
I’ve really tuned him out the last two years, I like the staff and administration I enjoyed d3 when he shat on Rees and Kelly but that’s gone , it’s time to lift up our squad and administration
I think we're better coached than either of these teams. They have more talent and are healthier (?), but that screen play, yikes.
