The whole time I thought she knew what was actually going on and she was just playing stupid. I am glad they took it in a different direction.
I don't see how they get a fifth season. This year's been pretty bad, and this potential angle after the way tonight ended looks to be retarded. I have no clue where this angle with Casey is going, and the Chuck/Sarah thing is kind of dumb right now. More than anything, they just need a better bad guy/group badly. This year's bad guy was kind of dumb. I will say that, in fairness to the show, it's hard to create story arcs when you don't know how many episodes you're going to get. This is two years in a row where they had to plan for a certain number of episodes in the season, and then had a bunch added later. Parts of this season were still boring IMO, but the uncertainty doesn't help.
the reason why this season was boring is because its 24 episodes compared to the 15 or so they had for every other season
i liked the Matrix part of the last episode but yea this season hasnt been too good, last season was the best so far imo
Funny think is that the actress that plays her is from Philly. She would still get it though. She is pretty damn sexy.
I have seen this coming for a while now. When they did the episode that was a Charlies Angels spoof it said something about maybe adding another member and I predicted that it would be Ellie.
good episode, wouldve been better if that black bitch died, this show could use some real drama. Atleast the computer and Ellie storyline looks interesting
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I haven't heard anything but it damn well better. They are definitely not setting up the next episode as a series finale. I can't wait for next weeks episode. Should be really good.
The season finale entitled "Chuck Versus the Cliffhanger", will air on Monday, May 16, 2011 There has been no official announcement from NBC as to whether or not the series will be renewed for a fifth season. Yvonne Strahovski (Agent Sarah Walker), commented that she felt "...[the chances] are pretty good, I will be surprised if we don't get a season five."
Yeah. With an episode called "Chuch vs The Cliffhanger" you wouldn't think it's the end.... or it will be some bullshit
I don't think it's going to be back for a fifth season. It's gotten pretty bad ratings all year, and they've gotten as the season has gone on (it barely got a 4 the last couple weeks).
This show has definitely gone downhill, but I feel like recently it has gotten a lot better. Bold move for them to Spoiler have Vivian turn into her father and take out Sarah. Should be a good episode next week, where I predict that Spoiler after promising Alex he will no longer be in the field Morgan will face a moral dilemma when he is put in position to be the hero. He will then do something absolutely absurd to save the day whilst Chuck goes into beast mode. After Morgan becomes a badass Alex will suddenly be so turned on at Morgans new side, Sarah will instantly become cured but as a side effect will become a lesbian. Alex and Sarah will then participate in lesbian activities while Jeff and Lester are peeping through the window filming it and Chuck and Morgan cry as they watch with their action figures. The coming attractions did promise a twist, lets see how right I am...
The Volkoff bit was stupid IMO. I get that they wanted to tie it to the family, but he never seemed like a bad guy/group on the level of Fulcrum and the Ring in previous seasons. Will be interested to see how they finish the season, because I think it would be a big surprise to people if it was brought back (at least from the speculation stuff I've read).
I'm not sure if this would actually happen because it would totally destroy the character of Chuck that the writers have been building for the entire show. But considering what is on the line for Chuck it might be possible that next week will be the Spoiler first time Chuck actually kills someone
I think that is what needs to happen in order for them to further develop Chuck's character. If it doesn't happen, then you can pretty much be assured that there will be no new season or the new season will be absolutely awful because it will be the same ol' Chuck. I agree with MG2 that this whole family based angle the show has really not been good. I am kinda hoping for them to kill off Chuck's mom so this whole Volkoff/family thing can be over with if the show does continue.
Only way Chuck becomes a killer is if Sarah gets is killed off (which isn't going to happen). There's no way Chuck becomes a killer if he and Sarah are still going strong, and they already played out the "Sarah doesn't love Chuck if he's a killer" story, which was horrible
I can see there being a scenario where the only way to save Sarah is for Chuck to kill someone. I still think Morgan plays a huge role in saving Sarah, especially when we are expecting him to lay low after promising Alex he was done. I still don't think that Chuck becomes a killer because it would completely destroy the character that the writers have built. The one thing that needs to happen is the mom needs to die.
would love to see Chuck go into beastmode and start killing people, and agree with everyone that the mom needs to go
I like Chuck, so I'm very happy it's coming back, but I'm wondering at this point what it needs to do to get canceled. The last four weeks, the show has had ratings of 4.0, 4.2, 4.1 and 4.1. Those are all down a full point from where they were last year, and the ratings last year for the show (when it barely made it back) were about a point or more better than they've been this year from the start.
Here is a link for those interested. I am very happy to see it coming back for one more season. I am almost certain that this will be their last though. http://tv.ign.com/articles/116/1167334p1.html
That's alright. There really isn't much more than can do with it. 14 episodes to wrap it up is ok with me.
They've gotten small orders of episodes the last few years, and then had 6-9 added on in the middle of the season each year. I think that's actually kind of hurt the show. It definitely did last year when the original finale was supposed to be when Chuck killed Shaw in France.
http://www.nbc.com/news/2011/05/15/with-a-commitment-to-innovation-strategic-positioning-and-season-long-strength-nbc-reveals-its-2011-/index.php 15 more episode left and being moved to Friday for its final season. I think I'm ok with that. No wondering, the writers don't have to scramble for extra episodes later. You know what your getting.
